As a first time home buyer I really knew little about what I was doing. I contacted Jay McCleary to inqure about a USDA Rural Development Loan. He walked me through the entire program, explained how it worked, and talked me through the entire application process. He was extremely punctual in getting back with me and making this process smooth. Once I found the home I wanted to buy Jay directed me to Alex Stone, who was my loan originator. She was extremely helpful and quick to get my mortgage going. All of my questions were answered almost immediately and the personal attention was fantastic. Tiffany Kitchen was my mortgage processor and she was extremely quick and helpful as well. There were several hiccups along the way on my end, and Alex was extremely understanding! It was great to work with Gold Star Financial and I am happily in my new home with a GREAT rate!

I recently did my second transaction with Gold Star Financial. I did not think twice on who to work with on this one. Jay Mccleary cares about getting his clients the best rate. He someone foresaw the rates jumping up exponentially and insisted I should lock in with him with they were down. My closing took some time because I had to work out some credit issues. Jay secured my rate for me while I had to wait for my credit score to get updated. This proves that Gold Star and Jay care that their clients get the best rate. Not like my local bank would do. Both my purchase and refinance were difficult deals to get done, but he was able to around these odd scenarios. Jay also provided me with his cell phone number, in case my stupid questions needed to be answered before I could go to sleep I would text him.
