Absolute nightmare with this agency. Calls are not returned within a reasonable time frame, if you are a contractor in need of providing a client with a certificate of insurance on short notice, then forget this agency. I received a termination notice form the insurance company, they stated that I was not making the payments, ( I had paid >50% of the premium when I purchased it ) plus I had also instructed the "agent " to bill my credit card for the monthly premiums. I called the AmGuard company with whom they placed the policy, they told me that no such billing arrangement ever existed, that my policy would end on the stated date at 12:01 a.m. I run a business, that is hard enough, I do not need certified letters of cancellation on a policy I am clearly paying for or everything that was needed to make the payments was pre-arranged with the "agent". To make a long story short, ten days after I received the cancellation notice via certified mail, plus two other identical letters via regular mail in the following few days after, I today received two reinstatement letters from them, each of those letters has a different reinstatement date..... I called them, told them that since they could not get their act straight that I had taken my business elsewhere, that I simply did not have time for their errors and mishandling of my policy, at this time their agent tells me that , well it is not going to cancel, it is reinstated, because we made a mistake, you really owed no money..you are actually paid thru some date a couple of months down the road..........What ??? Then when I said that I had already purchased a policy from another insurer, they insisted that I had to tell them who that insurer is, plus complete a form to now "cancel" a policy they cancelled due to their incompetence. I am calling and filing a complaint with the state board of insurance, and requiring a refund of any over payment up to the date of cancellation on their letter. Stay away from these jerks! Believe me, if I could give them < 1 star I would.
