I was also called for an interview for a receptionist position as they were planning to open an office locally in my town. I also was told it was not for a sales position. I was given an interview appt. at 11:30am. I drove an hour to the Sarasota location to meet with Paula D. as scheduled. As soon as she came in to the interview room she said the job was for selling their products. When questioned she said there was not a receptionist position open and acted like I was the one who was mistaken. Sounds like a bait and switch, if this is how they get employees by deception I can only imagine how they treat clients. Needless to say I would never consider doing business with them. (In order to post you have to select a star rating, I would not even have given a one star otherwise)

Every single time I upload a resume to a major job website, I get multiple calls from "Bankers Life" to come in for an interview. The women who leave messages sound unprofessional and they always claim to have an opening available for an "Administrative" position. All of these reviews are true. This company is a total scam when it comes to their hiring practices. If you go in for an interview, it will be for a position that involves selling insurance products and in order to sell these products, you will have to pay hundreds of dollars (in your own money) to obtain licensing for it. Whenever I see a number related to Bankers Life pop up on my phone, I block it immediately. Total scam.

I also received a call from a Pat Donnelly stating they liked my resume and offering an interview the next. The call was a little short and quick for a company of quality looking for quality employees. I am very thankful for these reviews from real people. My interview is for this morning, after reading multiple reviews with the same underlining complaint, I not wasting my time to be scammed. The general belief is used car salespeople are “scammers,” these jobs offers and job sites most have hired the unemployed used car salesperson for their HR..

I also received 2 calls from Pat Donnelly. She stated she has pulled my resume and how soon could I come in for a 30-40 minute interview. I asked if I could do a phone interview and was told no. Then I asked for a interview after 5 and I was told by Pat, I said I can interview you at x time. I inquired what the position was and was told a order management position. She was very rude and abrupt to any questions. Will not be attending interview

I have been trying to get Bankers to pay a claim for over a year now. I keep getting the runaround. They brag about how paying a higher premium is worth the unbeatable service and quick claims turnaround. However my parents are still being harassed to pay a bill that Bankers should pay IN FULL. We have Med Supplement Plan F . I would not recommend them to anyone.

Thank you all for your reviews. I received a call today (and another one less than an hour later) asking me to schedule an interview. Pat Donnelly left the message that I had applied for a job, when I know I had not. Not only was there two messages for me, but it also said they wanted to schedule an interview this week. Today is Friday.

I also received a call from Pat Donnally. I will not schedule to meet with these people. I told her specifically I was not a salesperson and had no interest in sales. It sounds like a scam and I am grateful to each of you for your posts/reviews.
