My Grandson found himself facing charges for a very serious crime and since we had no idea how to fight this, I hired Clayton Simms to represent him. The charges started as a 2nd Degree Felony for which he could have served up to 15 years in Prison. I soon became aware of why Clayton has earned so many Awards. Clayton is a very powerful Criminal Defense Attorney with a reputation for being aggressive and tenacious. But that is who he is professionally, and there is more that lies beneath in his character that I really learned to appreciate. Clayton seems to believe that good people sometimes make mistakes, and he wants to be the one to save them. And that’s exactly what he did; he saved my Grandson from spending a long time in prison with a felony conviction. and the case will ultimately be DISMISSED! Clayton is the top Criminal Defense Attorney in the State of Utah, and I was proud to see someone of his caliber standing beside my Grandson, which I felt sent a clear message to him about his worth. Clayton was the first person I saw in jail after I got in hot water with the police. My case was blown way out of proportion and It was looking really bad an scary for me. He was so helpful during the whole process. I ended up with a very good outcome, especially considering my charges. When my probation was supposed to be over it wasn’t. It was like the paperwork was just floating around the court somewhere. The prosecuting attorney said he never received the paperwork. I had transferred my job out of state thinking my probation would be over months ago, and was in fear I would lose my job if I couldn’t leave the state to start. He got right to the bottom of it and sure enough they closed the case. I feel like I can finally live a normal life! Since he arranged a 402 reduction and I completed my probation successfully, they lower my felony down to a misdemeanor. Thank you Clayton! I wish i didnt have to find an attorney but very glad we stumbled across mr simms! Me being new too Utah it made me feel a little better knowing i have someone in my corner frim the same place! You can watch him conversate with all the right people. Hes very respected and like throughout all utahs court system. On the 22 we had or i had two trials. One assault and a D.U.I. here in utah thats a pretty much something is gonna happen. At least for the DUI part. Long short he knows his stuff so he says we want it dismissed or we are rrady for trial on BOTH of them. So i ended up paying a 120 speeding ticket cuz thats all that could be proven!! These days you gotta be careful when you pay that much money for a short or long time period out of your life! Thank you very Clayton see you on may 1 and 2 lol HES GOT MY VOTE!!
