Worst experience ever. I highly recommend that every single person that reads this stays as far away from this Company no matter what it is that you are looking for. They take full advantage of their powers and will do everything they can to screw over their clients especially the ones that have come into financial hardship. They service a VA loan of which the seller has fell into hardship and could not keep up with his mortgage. You would think if this is the case they would be willing to work with the Veteran. Unfortunately that is not the case. The VA appraisal came back at $160,500. There is an offer at $160,000. Even though their sub-servicer Lender Live sent this proposal to USF recommending approval on the short sale USF came back and countered at $178,000 and said that they do not base their decisioning on value. The definition of a bully. And Linda Weir, Loan Production Manager, is the biggest bully of them all. She acknowledges that they are fully guaranteed any loss on this loan through the VA as well as that this property is worth $160K however she continues to push back counters close to $180K on a property worth $160K. Now they are forcing another home owner into foreclosure. Very sad. Linda Weir and the entire team over at United Security Financial are not in any of this for the good of the "borrower". I hope that people read this and steer away from this degrading company.

My experience has been TERRIBLE!! The loan was completed in mid December and I was instructed to pay the January payment to USFC. I did as instructed, and my check cleared my bank on 7 Jan 2016. I was then advised that LenderLive would be servicing my loan and was given information for this company. I paid my Feb payment to them but kept getting notices that my account was 2 months behind. After SEVERAL calls to LenderLive, they finally "found" my Feb payment but continued to send threatening letters because they claim I am still a month behind. They continue to tell me that USFC sent them the loan information which stated that the Jan payment had not been paid. LenderLive indicated that my Feb payment was posted as Jan since, again, "it had not been paid". I call about every day now but the problem has still not been corrected. NO ONE WILL HELP ME. I was advised during my daily call to LenderLive today that if I would have my bank send them the information on my January payment, they will try to resolve the issue with USFC. This is the first time I have been told this. Additionally, I tried to call USFC but, of course, I got voicemail and had to leave a message. I would advise any and all people looking at this company to run as fast as you can.

This company should be honored to have such an employee as Jonathan Miller. This representative has impeccable worth ethics his showmanship of caring for others is found no where.The knowledge and being so professional of his position shows he cares for the company he works for. I was so fortunate to have him answer the phone and very stressed about a situation about my mortgage and he calmly said to me just stay calm and we will work it out ,we are here to help and not criticize. That takes someone who cares. I would gladly recommend Mr. Miller to anyone who needs help of any nature . I mostly hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Thank you Judy Smith.

Worst mortgage company EVER!!! I have sold hundreds of house and this company kept my client out of his home for 2 months while they were trying to figure out the paper work. Once they finally did instead of funding and recording the next day they took 3 extra days because they would not send us a response to approve the HUD. If you are thinking about getting a loan from them RUN AWAY!!! I know how the loan process is suppose to go and this is not it. Instead of owning up they try to pass the blame off to everyone else. Worst company I have ever worked with!!!!

I know USF is a wholesale lender so they can offer rates well below other companies out there. If you are looking for an extremely good interest rate whether you are refinancing or purchasing a new home, this company will take care of you (VA, FHA, or Conventional). I think a lot of the reviews on here are really directed at their former servicer, but now that they have switched to Lender Live I am extremely happy. Family and friends were amazed at the interest rate we were able to get with this company and how stress-free the whole process was for us.

junk is the best word for this company they do nothing for you you they hire scam artist to work your account and have your personal info that just screw things up i have contacted a lawyer filed cases, complaints they are a joke to the fullest extent worst company i have ever seen for sure lose paperwork own an account but dont have your info cause they ship all over the place . they get a minus 20 stars from me

This was hopefully my last mortgage negotiation and the process was the best. Shane and I were in contact ever few days as he continually updated me to the progress and any requests for additional paperwork. It went so smooth I would almost consider refinancing again ( only kidding as my wife would kill me). If you need your mortgage refinanced, Shane and United Security Financial Corp. is the only way to go.

Simple, straight forward, and informed. Dan gave me almost all the information with the very first call I placed to him. I think the biggest point he made was that the process takes time and not to be alarmed if I had heard anything for another week or two. That is how it panned out and I had little to do on my part before all the refi paperwork arrived. The terms made a nice difference in the finance charge.

I wanted to refinance my mortgage, and everything went fine until suddenly Lender Live got into the picture. My monthly payments went up with no explanation, and I receive statements from both companies telling me to pay them both. It takes over three weeks for them to process my monthly payments, and then call and harass me asking when I can make a payment! I am sorry I left PHH Mortgage.

Very unprofessional organization here. I tried to ascertain information on loan status of payment and was told everyone was "out to lunch" and a return call would be rendered. That call never occurred. I then called back 5 hours later and was told to call somewhere else for information concerning loan number. Not a customer service based organization for sure.
