Hello. I have an issue about how a situation is being handled. I am currently deployed overseas. My wife had used roadside assistance do to a mechanical failure and was left stranded on the side of the road overnight with our 5 year old son and dog. She was asked many questions for almost an hour before any help began. She had to wait for a couple tow trucks to come out and waited with my son for over 6 hours on the side of the road late at night. Being deployed and serving overseas i am dismayed to learn of this treatment she is receiving. For contact regarding this claim all calls were on my phone not hers so she was missing important correspondance and has repeatedly told the representatives to call her phone. Also, she was denied a rental car which we pay coverage for. I am very disappointed with this type of handling of a claim of which we havent had any claims or issues for over 3 years. I will be sure to spread the news to my colleagues of the way this is currently being handles and will advise they look elsewhere be it their spouses are left in the dark while they are deployed.
I called to ask for a quote for my 18 year old son to be added to my auto policy. After giving me the insurance increase amount quote, the service rep added him to my policy without my request or permission and told me that because he was living in my house he is required to be on my policy, even though he is NOT driving and that I did not want to add him. I demanded that he be removed and he would not remove him. I cancelled as soon as I found another insurance company that would not do anything that I did not ask or request. I WILL FOREVER LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT GEICO DID AND THAT I STRONGLY REQUEST THAT THE FIND ANOTHER INSURANCE PROVIDER. I WILL TELL EVERYONE PERSON I TALK TO AND POST IT ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA FROM NOW TILL I DIE THAT GEICO MADE ADDITIONS TO MY POLICY WITHOUT CONSENT AND WOULD NOT REMOVE WHEN REQUESTED.
Had to give it one star or I cant leave a comment. Actually, they deserve zero stars. I got a policy on my daughters FINANCED car 8/16/16. Never received a coverage selection page, and my daughter was busy caring for her very ill infant to even think of such things and not getting that piece of paper got away from us but thats not the point. The car was involved in an accident in Feb of this year, was totaled and now they are telling me there was no collision on car. Ummmm hello.....financed cars REQUIRE collision. Been going back and forth for 2 months the supervisor of sales told me there was probably a misunderstanding and to go to corporate as its out of their hands. If yhey think my daughter is loosing $15,000 cause THEY EFFED UP??? They have no idea of this force. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
AMERICAN BANKERS INSURANCE COMPANY OF FLORIDA. ASSURANT COMPANY. DUMB. DUMB AND DUMBER. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EVERY MONTH FOR 4 MONTHS RECEIVED A BILL THAT RENTAL INSURANCE WAS CANCELLED FOR HOUSE RENTAL INSURANCE. WE EMAILED, CALLED, TRIED TO USE THEIR WEB SITE THAT IS ALWAYS NOT WORKING, SPOKE TO ILLITERATE PEOPLE TO HAVE THE MONTHLY BILL OF $22 DEDUCTED FROM OUR CHECKING ACCOUNT. THEY NEVER COULD GET THIS ACCOMPLISHED. AM GOING TO A NEW COMPANY AND SENDING AN EMAIL OUT TO EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY.
I had GEICO like 10 years ago, but had bad experience. However, after having other insurance like statefarm and progressive, I came back to GEICO few years ago. So, I am pleased with the service. I am glad I give them a second chance. They have been great for me so far. I will recommend it anyone. However, I have not have on-fault accident that can cost them anything since I came back and I am not able to speak about post-accident experience.
Taking into consideration the speaking with customer service by phone, the online experience and google reviews I have to give two starts for now. The reviews on this site are not good, I encourage folks to contact the state insurance commissioner, BBB, and state attorney general to pressure the business in question to correct and better their business practices.
Very disappointed with the lack of customer service experience I received. They over charged me by adding someone to my account without my consent. Then when I tried to get my money back they would not even try to work with me at all. Whatever the out come may be, I strongly advise not to do business with this company nor will I ever again in the future.
I do not have Geico Insurance. The most recent ad with the smart mouth kid is the main reason I will not consider changing to Geico. I am looking at other carriers and did consider Geico. I consider this ad to be one of the worst ever. My opinion is shared by many on face book. Geico needs to reconsider this offensive ad against the elderly.

I am so very frustrated geico is investigating a 174.00 claim.I have been a customer for twenty six years.I am getting the run around and basically have been told that if want to look for another insurance company go ahead.the customer service is rude and as soon as I can I will do what the lady suggest I will find another company
Geico does not inform their customers that their is a $4 differnce if you use a credit card and a $1 for using a checking account for direct withdrawal. I feel that this is decietful to the customer. No matter how loyal you are as a customer, you do not benefit from having Geico good rates for being loyal.
Sick and tired of their stupid advertising almost everywhere and none stop. Instead of spending all this money on these none scene adverting they should pay the claims in full and on time. Their sales team are very pushy, their prices are not cheaper than other companies and their service is very bad.
I have been with Geico for 13 years. The one time that I need to contact this company regarding a claim, I get no respect instead rudeness and a whole lot of lies!! I am currently looking for a new insurance company. I will report my experience in detail on the various social internet media.
I was very happy with GEICO about coverage for auto but they declined for coverage homeowner! TGEICO is very DISCRIMINATION about my deaf cat. I guess thhat I am going to look new insurance for auto and homeowner. GEICO will lost the business anyway!
Absolutely the worst insurance to work with. Agents refuse to accomodate those who have been in an accident. I spent 3 weeks trying to set an appointment for somone to appriase the damage to my car and the agent was very difficult and unapoligetic.
Have Geico going on 9 years and would never recommend them to anyone. Never had a claim or accident but insurance premiums continue to rise every 6 months by $60+. Check elsewhere and don’t get caught into their illegal practices of bait and switch

14yrs no claims. Because of address change my policy lapse for 3 weeks. They dropped my discount 95 dollars. Went up 200 dollars. Hope this helps your decision on how this company treats you
My experience has been less than satisfactory. I put in a claim on March 27, 2014. There still has been no decision on the claim. Who do I go to for help? Somebody Please answer............
Agent INCORRECTLY put that I had modifications done to my STOCK car which in turn caused my quote to be denied. One of the worst customer services I have ever had to deal with.
AWFUL! Got quote. Paid for full 6 months! 3 days later. Oh we made a mistake! They tried to add $400 to the 6 month policy. Very deceptive! I fought with no luck.
This insincere is BS. They have raised my rates each year because THEY had to pay out on accidents. No tickets plus no accidents = higher rates. Switching ASAP.
