While building our new home back in 2013, I wanted to make sure that everything was done in the most energy efficient manner so we did not have to continue to pay outrageous prices for electricity and heating. After calling around and getting a few estimates, I found that Quality First was the cheapest and, based on my interactions with the employees, the best to work with. From the estimate process to the final completion of the project, I was extremely impressed with the amount of communication and the quality of their work. You can definitely tell that they have been doing this for a long time and have been doing it the right way. After the inspection and getting the permit, the construction crew was onsight the next day. They were prepared and seemed to be high quality workers who had been there for awhile. This was a relief considering I had never done a project of this magnitude myself and really had no idea what should be going on or how long it should take to complete each step of the process. The communication was great throughout the construction process. Anytime I had a question or a concern, I would find either the crew leader, Jim, or one of the other workers. They did not treat me as though I was just wasting their time. The made sure that I was fully informed with what was going on and did so in a very pleasant manner. Once the construction was completed, which was in less than a day, the workers made sure to test everything to ensure it was working to its full potential. They also took the time to sit down and discuss basic troubleshooting procedures. This was great to be able to understand how to do some of the small fixes so that I did not need to call them each time that something happened. I have now been living in this home for 6 months and I have really only had one minor issue, which I was able to fix on my own. Quality First has been in contact with me a few times over the last 6 months to make sure I am satisfied with my solar panels. I would highly recommend utilizing First Quality for any of your home improvement needs. I plan on continuing to work with them while living in the area and have told all of my friends and family about their amazing service and they have had the same results!!

My encounter with Quality First came about as a door to door promotion to use Ygrene as a way to replace my roof or acquire other products. When the salesman came to the appointment (quite early, I might add), I found that there was a failure to communicate as to how the Ygrene program related to the First Quality products. Although disappointed and as skeptical as I was, I decided to continue to listen to the salesman just to hear him out. It goes without saying that after a frank and honest discussion, I decided to replace my 13 year old shake roof. I did so largely because of fire safety reasons, as well as the opportunity to have it done by a company that has lived up to its name - Quality First. The job was planned but delayed because of weather. When it did happen, everything went smoothly except for a couple of things (some materials were shorted and a small correction notice made by the inspector), which were very quickly remedied by the construction team leader, who, by the way, was patient with me as I asked a myriad of questions. He answered all my questions and each day, kept me informed as to what to expect and the next steps. Because of the shortage of materials, the job was completed the morning after the original planned completion date. Would I recommend this company? For roofing, clearly yes!

Quality first home improvements is a great company to go with if your looking to do ANY type of improvement to your home! me and my husband are very picky. The installation team is very friendly, They definitly knew what they were doing. Very knowledgable people i got a couple of estimates on different home improvements with quality first and it seemed they knew a lot about their products which made me feel very confortable! After they installed our windows they cleaned up after themselves very well. the products are great quality so you know they are going to last you forever! I felt very confertable and they didnt let me down. Thank You!!

We used Quality First Home Improvement services to install solar panels. They came just in time and the installation process was fast and smooth. As they promised, they assign a project coordinator to oversee everything to make sure that all the process from start to finish will be done as it should. Kevin was so kind and answer all my questions regarding the power system and even show me how to operate everything. Now, I am starting to make my own electricity. I had Quality First do a Texcoat paint job on my home. The initial investment seemed to be worth the extra money (3x the normal paint) for the "lifetime guarantee". However here I am years later with dry rot starting to eat away at my home. I had the service person come and inspect and take pictures. "we will get back with you". It has now been a year with many calls into them with no resolution to the problem. My next step is a registered mail to them with my expectations. I can not believe it has gone this far and this long! If you are thinking of doing this paint job, THINK TWICE!

Completely happy with the work performed by Quality First Home Improvement! The work is performed on time and the final results are beautiful. The four solar panels added also are awesome and their representatives maintain an extremely courteous and professional demeanor which, to me, suggest that indeed customer satisfaction is what they strive to provide clients. Additionally, the quality of the workmanship was first rate. The workers made a point to clean up after the job each day and were also very prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend Quality First Home Improvement.

I had Quality First Home Improvement install my windows and next year I will have them do my roof. These guys really took care of me and my home. They were polite, on time, and really answered all of my questions. Their installers were professional, quick, and took extra care in keeping my dog inside. I do recommend this company.
