On July 27,2017 I requested a security freeze to be lifted on my credit file. A bank I am working with to try to get a lower interest rate which I need badly could not get into my credit report as of August 3rd I was told by Experian, it would take three working days. If I loose this opportunity of getting a lower interest rate, my attorney will be sending them a nice letter. I think the federal government should get involved in a company that can hurt your financial status but does not have to answer a phone having 17,000 employees getting paid.

I filled in every piece of information requested...ACCURATELY. Experian refused to confirm my identity. Experian gave me laborious and unnecessary US Mail requirements to fulfill the freeze request. I hope Congress makes these credit agencies become customer sensitive. I have no intention of paying the $9.99 pm or the premium (!) $19.99 pm to protect myself from security breaches for which they may have been negligently responsible. Doing MORE business with rip off companies such as Experian is not on my agenda.
