I adopted both of my beautiful daughters through Heart to Heart in 2010 and 2014. My first adoption was unbelievably fast and smooth, 2 months from start to bringing home baby. My second adoption was much longer, 10 months, with many ups and downs including 2 failed placements. Both scenarios are pretty typical and potential adoptive families need to be ready for anything. In the end all I went through was so worth it and my daughters are the perfect children meant for me. I have such love and gratitude for their beautiful birth mothers that chose to give them life and more opportunities. I would use Heart to Heart again for a future adoption and most importantly for future adoptive families, I feel with Heart to Heart you will bring a baby home in your arms. Problems definitely came up the second time around and it was an emotional roller coaster. In the end Heart to Heart fixed it, made things right, and I brought home 2 beautiful healthy babies. Fees were exactly as stated and there were no hidden costs. Sondra, Utah birth mother case worker, is an amazing woman and truly cares for birth mothers, their children, and adoptive families. Sondra was present at both my daughters births and was a real support person for everyone. She has a great sense of humor and has a way of making people comfortable. Sondra seems to understand what a special experience this is for adoptive families and treats birth mothers with love and respect. She went the extra mile in all she does and you can tell her heart is really in her work. Lisa is my post placement coordinator for the last 4 years and is such a sweet and personable woman. She always returns emails and calls in a timely fashion and truly cares for adoptive families and birth mothers. She was a great support person along my adoption journey and I feel she truly cares about me. Lisa happily helps my daughters birth mother and me keep in touch and is my main communication person with Heart to Heart. Adoption is a very emotional, stressful, moving, and beautiful experience. You must enter this world with strength and determination. Thank you Heart to Heart for uniting me with both of my daughters, they are the most precious gifts of my life.

Unfortunately, I have never felt or been treated so poorly in my life than from Heart to Heart Adoptions. We went there about 3 years ago and loved it from the beginning, we completed every aspect of the starting phases of adoption. Once everything was complete we were put on the waiting list. Long story short, in an e-mail that was not intended to go us, we were called crazy and made fun of. Yes, the staff used our delicate situation and took it as an opportunity to poke fun at us. I never received an apology besides a lousy e-mail that you know was only sent out of guilt and not sincerity. It has been 3 years and I still would not recommend anyone to use this unheated company. Although, maybe they have learned to treat people going through an already emotional process better.

I can not say enough good things about this agency. We have adopted 3 beautiful children through Heart to Heart (2008, 2009, 2013) and were treated with the utmost respect every time we worked with them. They truly care about both the birth parents and adoptive parents and are always very professional and helpful. Adoption is a very difficult process and they know how to deal with any situation that may arise. Our adoption in 2013 was very complex due to the birthmother, and Heart to Heart worked very hard to help us complete everything with the courts. If you want to adopt a child, this is the agency to use. They truly are the best ever, hands down!

Everyone involved was caring, supportive, thorough, hopeful for us and the birth mothers alike, and always available to ask any questions. It always felt like we were their priority.
