Extremely professional, personable, and helpful! Buying a home for the first time is a little scary. There are so many unknowns and it is completely new territory to navigate through. Having someone who can guide you through the process in a kind and helpful way makes a huge difference. Rhett Weaver went above and beyond for us in answering our questions and concerns in a timely manner. I would never recommend another mortgage company over Academy. Our experience was fantastic and they made it simple. The update videos that they would email to us about our progress through the process helped us very easily understand where we were and what was needed from us to move on to the next step.

Getting the best rate possible was important to us. Academy delivered everything they said they would and were helpful in getting us information on loan options. Our experience with Academy Mortgage was terrible. Aaron was always out of town and his team was unable to really answer our questions. The refi process time took over two months to complete even through we provided all of the necessary information when requested. During that time, we felt like we were in the dark because no one communicated to us what was going on or why it was taking so long. Sometimes it would be days before we got a response back which is very unprofessional. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. I am glad it is over with.

Our loan experience was great with Academy Mortgage! Being a first time home buyer, we had a lot of questions and concerns. Kim Townsend was our Loan Officer, and he took the time to really help us understand what was going on along the way. He met with us multiple times and was prompt with his responses. He came to our closing and really made sure we were taken care of. We also worked with Gloria and Carter and they were helpful in making sure our loan moved along. My experience with Academy Mortgage was nothing but positive. As a first time home buyer I had lots of questions and Kim Townsend walked me through the process and always kept in touch with me at least weekly to let me know the progress of my loan and answer any questions I had. When there was an issue with the HOA he followed up and even offered money out of his own pocket to pay for the coverage they needed so I could be approved. They were fabulous in every way and I would recommend them highly.

We closed on our new construction home after working with Academy for 7 months to get the right loan product for our needs. They were patient and never told us we might be over our heads and offered assistance and answered questions when needed.
