UFCU has been a tremendous help since day one, not only being a banking solution but a great aid to my needs for improving my credit. I have worked with Lynn for 2.5 years since UFCU came to our workplace to offer services. Such a good presentation was given, and as skeptical as I can be, Lynn and her team relayed the integrity that UFCU truly has. Things are getting better and I actually am proud to be associated with this institution. Weird, but that is how you keep Austin. Yesterday, I spoke with Sergio who helped me with the dispute process, because a company is taking my money without me knowing and he guided me through the next steps. It was awesome that some recording left me a VM that there were suspicious transactions happening. How did they know. Genius. Feels like I am in good hands. Recommend UFCU to everyone.

I gave a 1 because there is no 0...this is the worst credit union ever if you get involved with their revolving loan account, which happens if you over draw on your account. they automatically loan you $100.00 at 12% interest compounded daily , even if your over draft is much less than $100.00. It is such a scam , we closed our account a year ago and they owe us $5.00, which we have asked for many times,sent letters they say have not been received. I told them I was going to warn others about this practice , so you have been warned!

Was SO GOOD but has been on a steady decline for the last few years. Web and online services are horrible. Cannot reliably take payments unless you are face to face in a branch (probably because they outsource it now to save money). Very poor at contacting and notifying customer if and when there is a issue (like the web not posting a payment). After 15 years, I have closed all our accounts with them and moved to MUCH BETTER credit union options in Austin.

I have been a member of ufcu for a long time now, and I remember the days I dealt with other banks and how ufcu is nothing less than a shining star of perfection to me. The impeccable customer service makes going to the bank a fun part of my day. Thank you UFCU! You are the best of the best and all other banks should follow your model performance!

Unfortunately this seems to be an all-too-common practice these days no matter where you bank, but this credit union is a particularly egregious offender with $40 overdraft fees if you are so much as a couple of dollars in the red.
