You get what you pay for. I went there for representation on a first offense pos of marijuana over 1 oz charge. My friend and I got the same charge on the same day. He has had 2 prior convictions for drugs before. He hired Andrew Levitt and I hired Jeff Temple Half Price Lawyers. I meet with Jeff 1 time he takes my money and i never hear from him again. I goto court and am shocked at what im facing. The guy half price sends to represent me tells me and my wife straight to our faces in the waiting room at court that i should have hired a "real" attorney. So here i am sitting in the waiting room having to make a decision that effects my whole familys life and the guy whos supposed to be there for me is telling me i should have hired a "real" attorney. WTF???? I had to go back to court and yet another very sloppy guy shows up and says he is my attorney. I asked him who he was and told him he was not the person that i had hired. Well after all of that i learned a very very valuable lesson. If you value your freedom and you want a professional attorney that actually cares about you DONT CALL HALF PRICE LAWYERS!!!!!!! Lots of good lawyers let you make payments for their services. Dont let money be the deciding factor for your life. Oh ya my friend that hired the real attorney with 2 prior drug cases got a online drug class and a 90 day suspended sentence for the same charge

I had a wonderful experience here with the Family Law attorneys. I shopped around for a law group that felt like they genuinely cared about me and my case but were also affordable and up front about pricing (which was a concern for me.) Jon and the rest of the crew at Half Price Lawyers were so very helpful and considerate the whole way through. They sat down with me right from the start and outlined how the process would most likely unfold (court appearances, necessary documents, etc.) and I felt instantly comfortable with the way they ran their office... which is more than I can say for the other two law groups I sat down with while seeking representation. A special thanks to Darryl in the office as well. He was so kind to answer the questions I had along the way about my case and always dealt with me professionally and patiently. The outcome of my custody case was even better than I had hoped for--and the process of getting me there was stress-free. The lack of stress I felt was priceless because I have good friends in town who went through custody battles that gave them grey hair and anxiety for years... so I really appreciate how easy Half Price Lawyers made everything for me and my family. ToTAL SCAM!! I went to them at first needing help to "quash" my bench warrant and handle my case went down to the office downtown and spoke to a girl at the desk she quoted me a fair price and said the lawyer would get the charges completley dropped... Long story short i never heard anything from my lawyer in person and when i went to court some sweaty lawyer came for me Late may i add and it wasnt even the lawyer that was supposed to be assigned to my case he told me that they cant get the charges dropped and i have to do a deal. Otherwise l would have to pay more money, under stress and not knowing what else to do i agreed. And had to fufill the requirements for my next courtdate, i asked ny lawyer to get an extension due to health issues the girl on the phone again wouldnt let me speak to my lawyer but said she would tell him and make sure he made it happen which they didnt even do that so now i have a warrant. I guess you get what you pay for.. Lesson learned but im warning you do not go here unless you want to be totally ripped off either do it yourself or pay the extra for a Real Attorney that will actually fight to have your Back !

I retained Half Price Lawyers for Divorce proceedings. I was told the whole process would take about 3 months. I never received updates from anyone in the office, and every time I called I was given a story that all was on the up and up and things were proceeding as planned. I received a letter from the District Court of Las Vegas, and assumed it was the Divorce Decree, but upon opening I received a notice of action being cancelled for non action. I called and was told that they had not taken action because fees had not been paid. Not the case and when I asked to see my file, the fees had been marked as paid and all of the sudden there was a flurry of action. DO NOT RETAIN THIS FIRM FOR ANYTHING, YOU WILL BE SORRY.

do not use the family law services, the attorney is not familiar with Nevada laws or procedures, he will not correctly turn in evidence or witness list, even if you supply it to him, his paralegal services promise things that they can do deliver, i am not talking about outcomes i am talking about meeting deadlines AND PREPARING PAPERWORK. I am now spending over 7000.00 to amend mistake, and i am finding out that the ignorance from this place has cause permanent damage that can not be undone. YOU ARE BETTER OFF DOING IT YOURSELF OR SPENDING A LITTLE MORE ON SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. BUT IF YOU WANT SOMEONE THAT WILL TRY VERY LITTLE TO DO ANYTHING BUT WANTS YOUR MONEY USE THIS FIRM.

I would like to say thank you to the whole half price lawyer team for the professionalism and attentiveness to my case, they always made me feel as if I were there only client, I could always count on them to keep me informed and return my calls. I can really say the cost compared to the other 4 lawyers I consulted with this team really owns the name half price lawyers. I needed half price lawyers to handle my child custody case, I went to 4 other lawyers before them trying to pick someone with whom I could feel confident and comfortable, and I knew they could handle my situation and not just make it another file in there drawers. I really don’t know where my son and I would be without them.

BAD BAD BAD I went in for a consultation with Heather Zana and she said she didnt really need to hear my side of things, but if i needed to tell her i could !!! I couldnt believe it !!! And they arent really half price. Thankfully, i got a refund, minus $100.00, the very next morning. They wanted to keep $250.00 but my husband demanded to be treated fairly and warned a lawsuit for them being unjustly rewarded for services not rendered. Anyhow,i found a very good lawyer who costs the same that is going to go to bat for me and get my charges reduced or dismissed. Very nice guy by the name of Parvis Heshmati, criminal defense.

the worst company on the face of the earth. when your in need they take your money then they forget all about you till the day before court.. then you meet yet another attorney just assigned to your case who knows nothing about you and has prepared nothing....then tell you just take whatever they offer you.....might as well represent yourself they are incredibly rude and if you want to complain the lady that took your money says "i dont have time for that and you need to pay more money now".....they are rude carney vultures who i hope get sued real soon........stay away stay far away. they need to be rated as worthless

made payments in every two weeks all my money went to pay for bk 7 . submitted all paperworks needed and now waiting for the day to see the judge, how estrange that the judge name is similar to mine maybe related in some distant family tree, hope he wont tell my grandma. Mellisa did a very good job gettng all thngs done and I thank you for all your hard work. Mellisa and the rest of your team. you shud get a raise and vacation time too. thanks for all your help. I am setting up a non-proffit and I will NOT be using half a$$ lawyers to do so. I called in, they gave me an appt time. I got there 25 minutes in advance to avoid having too wait longer then necessary. Watching walk-ins and other appts come and go, and there I sat, well past my appt time. 1 other person in the office when i finally did leave. Rating above shows poor-to-fair. That rating is too High for them. Do yourself a favor and avoid these ambulance chasers. they would rather get the ticket clientele

I used Half Price Lawyers for a criminal case...exposure was about 5 years for a felony conviction. I was assigned Derrick S. Penney as my lawyer and he was GREAT! No complaints... case was plead down to misdemeanor and I was given probation. I met with two other firms and their prices were much higher. My initial consult was with Adam Stokes and it was as good as can be expected. He was straight forward and everything went as we discussed. I have no complaints

SLOPPY AND YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! if you want to get a half price attorney than you will get half price representation. i have used these guys several times and each time they are sloppy with their service and sloppy with their representation. one of my employees used them for a DUI and had horrible results. Also, if you notice all of the other REVIEWS it is obvious they are writing their own reviews, look at the dates they are written. SHAME on you STOKES.

I needed to file bankruptcy and decided to go at it alone. That was not a good choice. I went to Half Price Lawyers and they listened to me and made sure I had the paperwork that was needed to do it right. When I met with them the secretary and assistant as well as the lawyer were nice and understanding. They were great and resolved my case quickly and accurately. Half Assed Lawyers!!! The gave inccorect intructions for my fraffic ticket I needed a level 3 traffic school not the 5hr online course they instructed me to take!!! I have been waiting 5 buisness days for a call back from them and still waiting .... meanwhile I now have a warrent for my arrest for not going to the correct driving school ...... I am Married with children not an irresponsable kid!! How annoying !!!!!!!!!

I chose Half Price because the price was the best I could find, and being unemployed and out of unemployment benefits, I needed the best price possible. My lawyer, Jeff, was excellent and my paralegal Ruby answered every question, even after my BK was discharged. Service above and beyond. They were also very respectful towards me and my situation.
