Chad asked me to write a review today based on my experience with him earlier this year. A tree fell on our house during a storm. I called The Portland Roofers. Chad answered the phone. Chad was very straight and to the point. He took a $475 deposit by sending a service agreement through QuickBooks. I read the terms of service and made the deposit online . Two hours later Mark of Elite Tree Service came to remove the tree from my roof. Same day service just like Chad said. Chad came later that same night in rain gear wearing a head lamp and attached some type of waterproof material to our roof in such a way that it withstood the wind until he could provide us with a new roof. Chad explained how they would replace the roof in very simple way without without His crew began replacing our roof the next time weather permitted. The Portland Roofers fixed the framing damage that the tree caused to our roof. Chad added blown in insulation and improved or ventilation system in the Attic. They also repaired our fence and deck and replaced a section of gutter. All of these things were also damaged by the tree that fell during the storm. Chad and Mark billed my insurance company separately. State Farm insurance was great during the whole process.

Chad really came through for me. After years of ignoring the buildup of pine needles and leaves in my gutters, it came back to bite me. We first noticed it when my mother came to spend a week with us and said that the ceiling in the guest room had water stains, and that the bed was wet. After calling Portland Roofers to come take a look, it turned out that the gutters were backing up when it rained, and flooding the crawlspace above the guest room. After getting the roof leak repaired, the gutters cleaned, and getting gutter guards installed, we were expecting a much higher price than what Chad charged us. We will definitely use them in the future, though they did such a good job, it probably wont be for awhile.

I had Chad and his crew do our roof last March. He was very helpful and professional every step up the job. They went above and beyond to make sure we got the best roof we could. Our old one was in bad shape and leaking in our garage and arrive space. Chad explained exactly what would be involved in the job and how much everything would cost. There wasn’t any surprise up charges at the end of the job. They showed up on the date the said they would and finished on the date that was promised. After reading some of these one star reviews I feel some people like to leave bad reviews for everything. Give these guys a chance and you shouldn’t be disappointed. I love my new roof.

My experience with Chad and the roofers his company employees was very professional. During a recent storm I gave a deposit for same day roof repair and in a little more than an hour later the companies project manager Angel had a roofer installing a tarp on my roof. They later returned and replaced a section of my roof. The final invoice was more than I wanted to pay, but I believe everything they did was necessary. Everything was done just as Chad said it would. I paid for the time and materials needed to repair my roof.

We had a positive experience with The Portland Roofers from Jessica coming out to give a bid (with a new toy for each of my kids!) and providing a thorough description of the products and process to respectful workers who picked up all of the debris throughout the day. We love our new roof and would recommend this company as being competitive in price while providing a top quality product. They have a minimum charge of $380. It is openly stated but really high compared to other places in town. I was in a bind with a bad roof leak on a weekend so I agreed. Roofer came out Monday and fixed some cracked sealant around a small vent with some putty. Fine. But then they told me on the invoice that I really need a new roof. My roof is only 5 years old and several other contractors have recently remarked about how good it appeared. This seems disingenuous.

Clear communication. Chad and his crew were great to work with–professional but personal. Service above and beyond what was agreed upon. Beautiful and flawless job. I could not be more pleased with the roof project from start to finish.

I called 503 New Roof, for a client of mine. I am a mortgage banker. Chad answered the phone, went out within 24 hours, to bid the job. Finished the job within the same timeline he originally gave me. Came in within his bid, I closed the mortgage ahead of time. The client is extremely happy. If you want someone to do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it, call 503- New- Roof

Andon was an absolute pro! He made my roof look like new. The gutters shine and flow like the day they were originally installed. I was really impressed with the clean-up as well. For as much moss, leaves and gunk that were on my roof, there was no mess left behind. Chad and Angel’s crew over delivered on my new roof. They were extremely polite and extremely fast in getting a gnarly tear-off done, dry rot fixed and roof on. Best of all, my yard looks better than it did before they showed up. Overwhelmingly a positive experience!
