Horrible experience at the Johns Creek AAA Auto Repair Shop. On March 11, 2017 I took my 2011 Ford Explorer in because of a clunking noise it was making while being driven. They called me the same day to advise that it was coming from the sway bar link on both sides. I gave them permission to fix my Explorer and due to parts not being available it wasn’t ready till March 13th. No problem there. Picked it up and I was told that the noise had been taken care of but given a hard recommendation that they needed to replace the front struts and mounts ($810.75). Fast forward to March 24th. The Explorer is being driven on the highway and the noise comes back louder than before. I took it to the Ford Dealership this time as it was closer. They diagnosed the problem was in fact the work that was done at AAA Car Care and improper installation of the parts that they used. Ford Dealership did the work and 7 months later no issues. Along with the fact that I did not and have replaced the front struts and mounts like I was about to at AAA Car Care. I went to the shop on a Saturday and spoke to a gentlemen at the service desk and gave him a copy of the invoice from Ford Dealership and their invoice showing that duplicate work had to be done. He apologized and informed me that he would pass the information over to the shop manager Keith Hamby and have him call me back. Almost a week went by and I had to call there myself and spoke to Keith. He denied ever getting the invoice and started talking down to me about their warranty and how I handled things incorrectly. Sorry but I didn’t think it was wise to drive the car another 15 miles just so it could be messed over again. Keith said he was going to file a claim with his warranty department to get my money back. I spoke to him one more additional time and then never heard from him again. Decided to dispute it with my credit card company and Keith made it seem like it was our fault for not replacing the front struts and mounts that they recommended. I called AAA and found out that Keith had never filed a claim at all with the warranty department. I’ve never had any issues with the repairmen there but Keith was not helpful at all and lied about filing the claim to get me reimbursed. I will continue to pursue this via social media & news media. This is not a good way to run a business. The only reason I gave him 1 star is because it is necessary to post this review.

The AAA people are great. They are great with trip planning but this location is one of the AAA Car Care locations as well. It will be great to see these roll out to the rest of the USA. I have taken my car to numerous places in Atlanta. AAA informed me of a CV boot that needed to be replaced. I told them I knew of it but it was too expensive. The Master Mechanic told me that they could discount the service through AAA and said “why don’t we replace the whole excel. That way you get a better fix and the cost was less than the other quotes I received for just the boot from other places. The fact that if my car breaks down and in they can tow it to a AAA car care shop where they can review everything that has been done to my car and give me the AAA discount is a great thing.

Since you asked; not only was I not satisfied - I was offended by the your customer representative - Daniel. The service you performed resulted in damage to the pressure sensors in two tires. Daniel admitted that the pressure gauge used was defective resulting in over inflation, but he was unwilling to correct the situation and laughingly advised me to "go ahead" and contact my Toyota dealer when I proposed that alternative. The Toyota dealer confirmed that the faulty service was the probable cause of the sensor failure that Daniel wanted me to believe was merely a "coincidence". At this point the only recommendation I can offer is for friends and family to steer clear of AAA Car Care unless you are willing to take this situation seriously and offer a remedy.

I went to the Johns Creek, GA location to purchase a (1) day Magic Kingdom ticket. I purchased it at AAA to save me time from having to buy it at Disney. Much to my dismay… when my family and I arrive to scan our tickets, the one I have is not for Magic Kingdom but my husband and two kids thankfully have the magic kingdom tickets. So here I am standing at the gate and am told I have to turn around and go to guest relations and stand in line for guest services to get it corrected. I specifically told the AAA rep that I wanted a Magic Kingdom ticket. Please look at your ticket to make sure that you receive what you ask for- very disappointed.

I went into the AAA to get a Trip Tik. The service lady was very cordial and helpful. She explained some of the acronyms used in the Trip Tik and suggested that, when I see signs that state "No gas for the next xxx miles", to take heed and get gas, if my tank is relatively low. She also gave me some maps that were related to the course that I was taking. The Trip Tik is generated via computer, so the time involved to put it together was short. After reviewing the course that was outlined, it looked very reasonable. The real test will be in the actual travel. I have previously used AAA for other Trip Tiks and I have had no problems.

I took my car for an oil change, when I picked it up the vehicle both of the front shocks were broken... The original service adviser Joe was very helpful and empathetic to the situation. Joe actually advised me that these kind of issues almost never occur where two shocks go bad at the same time. Harold the manager on the other hand was very rude and insistent that it was a normal wear and tear issue and has done everything in his power to pass the buck. Anyone who knows anything about cars knows it is virtually impossible for two shocks to go out at the same time with out some sort of negligence.

I was planning a Disney trip for my family. I spent hours trying to do it on my own, unsuccessfully. It was suggested that I try a AAA travel agent, so I went to this Johns Creek location. Pat helped me a lot, with options I had not considered to make the vacation experience easier and more flexible, plus the AAA discounts that saved a fair amount of money. I would definitely use this service again for future travel needs.

I contacted AAA for insurance and they wrote me a home Insurance from Safeco for $1900/year starting Dec 2015 and on jan 12, i got a notice that my premium has been increased to $3900. I was shocked and cancelled same day and I was told that I owe them $82.99. This is very unfair of both Safeco and AAA to do this to anyone. How can they double the premium and charge retro-actively? AVOID SAFECO AND AAA FOR ALL INSURANCE

Have been very satisfied with the services provided at the Johns Creek AAA office. Have been able to get in and out within a reasonable amount of time. The folks there have gone above and beyond to provide service and repair to my vehicles. The lounge area is nice too. Will continue to use this location even though it is not very close to my home.
