Follow up real quick, I happened to look at her Yelp reviews, look there if you want to see the truth. She had not gotten on there to have Sharon and her minions post fake reviews. Such unethical behaviors, it is unfathomable. Review her reviews. All those good reviews are written by hereself, her family members, friends and staff. Hell even real professional attorneys like Steven Benke only has about 50 reviews, Letty Gavito one of the best attorneys in San Antonio has 5 reviews, and Charles Hardy from one of the most prestigious offices has 3. 3 reviews, how does she all of a sudden pop up with almost 160 reviews if she is not paying for fake reviews. He office manager Monica goes on and on how wonderful it is to work there and she is not even there anymore. All smoke and mirrors. Look at the review posted by Arlin. That says it all. They are all fake she is writing them herself and her staff. Review her The below post was posted a while back at the insistence of Rebecca Gonzalez to one of her employees. That employee as well as other employees, were strongly ENCOURAGED to enlist family and friends to write "good reviews" on her behalf in an attempt to bury the bad reviews. I HAVE NEVER USED REBECCA GONZALEZ and NEVER WOULD. I would question all of the so called good reviews she all of a sudden has, It is your call. Good luck. I never I am surprised at the bad reviews on here for Ms. Gonzalez. The work she had done for me was superb, and I would recommend her to anyone. I especially surprised that the reviews by people that did not even retainer her services. She is very frank and up to the point concerning costs and expenses. But her professionalism is above reproach and I would use her again. I had used another attorney down the road from her and was so happy to get out of that office. I will recommend Ms. Gonzalez again and again. You can not believe a review from someone that did not even retainer her. That is what the internet has become anyone can make up a false complaint, especially when they did not even use the service they are complaining of.

My experience at Law Office of Rebecca A. Gonzalez was excellent. At my first appoinment I received guidance about my case and affordable payment accommodations. I had an Attorney General Case that had been going on for way too long. About nine years of reviews and transfers of the case without changing the child support order. I was adviced to get an attorney and based on the reviews here I went to this office. Attorney Catherine Towell handled my case. She communicated with me and guided me in the process of submitting documents and preparing for court. I never felt that I was on my own. The outcome of the case was favorable for my children and other legal matters pertaining to medical bills were finally presented to the court with a good outcome as well. The accounts payable at the office sends detailed invoices with enough time to make payments. The cost was well worth it. Attorney Towell is very professional, supportive and always willing to clarify legal concepts and procedures. Our court day was long and she was there the whole time and I can tell you that she really advocated for my children. I am very glad that I went to this Law Office.

Honestly if. I could give her negative stars i will. My mother was in a custody battle with my biological father i was there everytime inorder to translate and helo because sometimes her paralegal couldnt. We only spoke to rebecca twice once at the initial consoltation and then at the end when we told her to give us the rest of the money that was left from the initial money.she spend over 3 thousand on absolutely nothing. Over 6months on nothing. She said that they couldnt find him, they hire a privet investigator FOR NOTHING. Because the information she found at the end was THE EXACT SAME WE GAVE THEM AT THE BEGINING. Said it was hard to bring him up here we had his number and gave it to her and she didnt use it until the very end. She never contacted him until we did. when we had an actual conseltation it was always with karin. When we had an actual court date we went and he wasent served we went all the way downtown san antonio from helotes to go for nothing. Karin had failed to let us know that it was rescedualed duebto him not being able to be served. Saying we need his last adress to serve him i gave it to her and nothing happened.

I found Rebecca A. Gonzalez by way of a prayer and she has been proficient and professional and keeps her word. Ms. Gonzalez was the resolution to my nearly 10 years of on-going custody battle and unresolved issues to separate martial assets. She met with me and took the time to fully understand me and my needs for my situation was tumultuous, then she advise me to think about my decision really make sure it was what I really wanted to pursue, no pressure. Ms. Gonzalez impressed me with her knowledge and staff that were hands on with knowledge of my case facts quickly. I have had numerous attorneys over the past years to represent me and failed to complete things in my favor, probably out of rush or just could not handle the case; however Ms. Gonzalez and her staff showed me they were paying attention and at the end of the court ruling I was represented professionally and I was awarded what I wanted after nearly a decade of court appearances, social studies and custody battles. Definitely Do NOT recommend Mrs. Gonzales. Completely unresponsive, didn’t update me on my case, the only calls I received were to “replenish my account” . Ms. Gonzalez charged me ridiculous rates to “review my file “ and to take my phone calls when I called to get updated. Her staff is very incompetent, they are either overwhelmed or inattentive in their duties. After almost 7 months from hiring her my case didn’t show any progress, I fired her and hired a different Attorney. My new Attorney charged me 1/4th of the amount Mrs. Gonzales quoted me to complete my case and he completed it in less than 2 months. She borderlines malpractice in her execution of her duties, with bad information, an unwillingness to deliver on her promises, in a rude and condescending attitude. I emailed her office over 2 months ago requesting a return in retainer money owed to me and I still have not heard from her or her staff. I now know the rates she charged me for the duties she performed are ridiculous. I hope you reconsider hiring her and save yourself from a bad experience or waste of your hard earned money.

I recently completed my divorce through the Law Office of Rebecca Anne Gonzalez. As far as the bad reviews go, check out their grammar and realize that there is a certain level of unprofessionalism that comes from the author of the review. Although I only met Ms. Gonzalez once, she was quick, professional, and able to grasp my goals quickly. I worked with her staff throughout the 61 days and everything was completed on that last day. By working through her staff, I was able to save a money and time. I know a number of individuals who have gone through divorce in the last few years and those without an attorney have exceeded a year to complete the process. Given that my divorce was relatively simple, those with a simple divorce ought to consider hiring Rebecca Anne Gonzalez as your attorney. Those with a bit more need, gather your materials and visit with her to find out how she would go about representing you to achieve your goals.

I went to her in February with what I considered an urgent custody issue. I did not get the greatest feel from her, thought she was very cold. But I signed anyway. The only communication ever was with a paralegal Karin Rubio. I responded to every email, but when I began to question how much work they were actually doing for me -- and refused to pay another dime until they actually DID something -- I get a letter in the mail for a motion to withdraw because she is "unable to effectively communicate with (me) in a manner consistent with good attorney-client relations." She is a fraud, her poor paralegal is doing all the work and is obviously overloaded. Not one single communication with RG from the initial consultation, but they sure seemed to be talking about my case a lot based on the billing. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE -- DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN ANY MONEY. You will definitely NOT get what you are paying for.

No one enjoys dealing with court issues, the thought of going through this process of dealing with legal matters involving my children is stressful. I did a lot of research looking for a firm to help me out and when I spoke with the receptionist she listened to what I had to say, and was not in the rush to get me off the phone. Going in for my first consultation was not bad as I thought it would be, I got answers to my questions and my nerves settled down. This firm has been more than helpful and it takes away the stress to know that I have someone that I trust represent my children and me. Emails, and calls are always responded back to, I do not have to worry about not hearing back. Amy is awesome and listens to what I have to say and gives advice of what steps we need to do. Although it was after hours when I called, she personally answered the phone and listened intently to my problem. She felt for me and said she would gladly take my case if I would let her. When my court date arrived, my counselor was professional and stern. She had nothing but my interests in mind. I was satisfied with the final outcome of my case. Our experience was horrible, she (Rebecca Anne Gonzalez) had no sympathy for our situation and continually said it was going to be expensive (multiple times like we do not have any money, I have over 300K in accessible investments alone plus multiple properties) like I even asked how much it was going to cost. My wife went into her office and she had the sense she was obviously not going to make any effort to help us by saying it was going to take a lot and a long time over and over again. She gave my wife a bad taste in her mouth with the crappy attitude toward our situation so my wife just walked out and we decided to find someone else. I would NEVER recommend this law office!!! I am a retired combat veteran and this was my first and worst experience with a law office.

I immediately felt comfortable at the Law Office of Rebecca Gonzales. Her staff was extremely professional and did a wonderful job keeping me updated as well as being prompt about returning my phone calls and emails. Amy Troy (an associate attorney at the office) took my divoroce case and I was very satisfied. She had a direct no nonsense attitude which was exactly what I wanted in representation.
