ZERO STARS WOULD BE EQUAL TO A 5 STAR RATING FOR PCC! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Condescending, arrogant, threatening, irresponsible, pathetic and down right childish would be the adjectives I would use to describe the staff at PCC, PARTICULARLY "NICOLE". PCC had an account that should never have been assigned to PCC. After numerous phone calls and letters finally in August, PCC sent a letter stating that the account was returned to the company that sent it to by PCC in error. It also stated it would be removed from my credit report. HAHA HAHA, ya right. In October, nearly 60 days later I sent two additional letters to PCC stating that the account had still not been removed from my credit reports and they had ten days to have it removed or legal counsel would file a lawsuit seeking damages. Finally, it was removed. There are two more medical accounts that were listed with PCC that were finally paid by my insurance. I was told that they would be removed from my credit report today by"Nicole" I will do an update if "NICOLE" screws up again and drips the ball again. I would never use PCC as a business to collect debts, as they act like their **** does not stink. I feel sorry for all of the other people that they have treated like garbage. There is no reason to threaten and treat people like garbage. I have found the nicer you are to people the more they are willing to correct the issue and often help you correct the issue. I would highly advise that if you can not afford an attorney to deal with these idiots, contact your local legal aid office and get some help to defend yourself against the unfair trade practices, threats and condescending manner in which PCC operates. If we are lucky the complaints I filed with the State Attorney Generals office, Department of Justice, will help PCC wake the hell up and realize that their debtors are people too and the State of Oregon can take actions against PCC and that PCC is not untouchable. 11-5-14: PCC failed to note my accounts on my credit report as paid, as they stated they would. Why pay them if they will not honor their responsibilities under the law?

I did not have a problem with Pacific Coast Credit-- I was more upset with Pathology consultants. I went to a dermatologist 6 months ago-- paid for my bill but this was the first time I had ever had a "lab" done and did not realize it was a separate bill. I never was called or mailed late notices or anything to let me know I had this bill until they had already sent it to collections and Pacific Coast called me yesterday. It was fairly pleasant for a debt being unexpected-- they told me what I owed, I explained my frustration and not knowing about it-- they told me I had til the end of the month before it hit my credit and I stopped in today and paid it. They were nice and courteous to me-- so they get 5 stars from me... and now im off to rate that lab company.. 0.0

Collection agency or not. Threats are NOT okay. I have received name calling, stalking, harassment, and been deeply threatened many times by my new caseworker, which they transferred me to without my knowledge. She also upped my court agreed upon payment without discussion and demanded i pay it "or else". They are deeply un-professional and disgusting people and i am horrified. I have to be in my therapists office to make calls to them because when i get off the phone with "Tracy" I am a complete wreck. I have dealt with other debt collectors and i actually payed them off earlier than expected because they worked with me and were easy to visit. These guys? Not so.

I set up payment arrangements 1 week ago and went to make the next payment early. They told me they could only accept an amount that was 3 times larger than the original amount agreed upon. Then told me they do not care if we have other bills that they wont take a payment unless it was a large absurd amount. They then threatened me with legal action. So I got a lawyer.

Rude, rude, rude. Horrible customer service, refuses to accommodate a person with a disability. Did I say RUDE. Idiots as well. Filed in court, and the action has the wrong name. We have had financial difficulties and have dealt with other collection agencies who were professional and polite. These jerks could take some lessons from the real professionals.

Worst customer service ever. Absolutely rude and inaccurate information during every phone conversation. One phone call and they sent it to collections. Highly recommend that no business use this company. They will hurt your reputation with their "tactics". Strongly recommend you use any other company.
