One side of our duplex had to be completely gutted and rebuilt because of fire and smoke damage. My husband and I were out of town when we were notified of the fire. Our insurance agent gave us the names of several contractors that deal with reconstruction. From the moment we called Claudio Alvarez Construction help was immediate for our tenants and cleanup began.We have nothing but praise for this company. The professionalism, helpfulness and quality of our completed duplex leaves my husband, my tenant and myself very satisfied. We feel that everyone with this company has gone out of their way to be helpful in this very stressful and difficult time. Even helping my tenant get her ruined furniture and clothing out of the duplex. The other side of the duplex had extreme smoke damage and Claudio Alvarez Construction brought in the people and equipment needed to clean tenants furniture, the carpet and walls in a timely way that the tenant on that side was back into her home within two days. We had water damage in our kitchen twice in the period of six months. Claudio Alvarez Construction was our "silver lining" each time. We were more than pleased with the company from the beginning when Tim Alvarez arrived to assess the problems until completion of each project. Colt oversaw each step of reconstruction and kept us informed of schedules and which sub-cocntractors would be doing the work. Eric and his crew did the removal and reinstallation of our hardwood floors each time. The crew was always polite, careful and cheerful. Those doing drywall replacement, prep work for painting and the painting itself were professionals. We also had carpeting replaced and tile work done. All work was done to our complete satisfaction. Each week we received a call asking if we had questions or concerns. We have no hesitation in recommending Alvarez Construction for damage repair of your home or business. They are professional from start to finish.

Claudio Alvarez construction did a couple jobs for me, they replaced and re-surfaced our floor after it was water damaged and built in some bookcases. They both turned out very nice-I am very happy with the results. The price was good and all the workers very friendly and on time. The work was done even before the estimated time. So very thankful to Claudio Alvarez Construction for making a horrible experience easier to handle. We had a pine tree break off and fly through our roof. And it was raining. After I called my Insurance Co., they had Alvarez Con. at our house within 1 1/2 hours to patch up our roof. All of the workers were so awesome, very respectful, friendly, and great at their jobs. Colt was extremely personable and easy to reach. All workers were polite and helpful even to the point of sweeping out my garage after the furniture was replaced in the house. They did overpromise. Rather than a week "homeless" , it was two weeks but believe they encountered some problems with the flooring. All is beautiful now and I would highly recommend them.

Horrible 1/2 arsed work. I have to hire real contractors back to fix the labors of high school level work. A maintenance worker would have done a better job. They left trash in my driveway for over 3 months. They dug a hole in my front yard and buried a troff of spackle. They are all talk, and no work. Make the home owner feel like an idiot and see where it goes.

Two large oak trees fell on house, deck, hot tube cubical, and an out building. My contractor was booked out three months so my agent told me to call Alvarez and I was greatly pleased with the employees, the workmanship and the completed job.
