Their contractors are fine. Their business and costumer service are a different issue. I went through my home warrenty and was submitted to Fast response back some time in mid-May, My A/C wasnt working. I had to call multiple times and they came out the first time to "diagnose" at 8pm then the second time to do the repairs at 9pm all in all it wasnt completed until mid-June. Repairs were a replaced Fan motor for my furnace and a replaced valve for my A/C unit. By July 2nd my furnace/fan was shaking so bad it made my second story shake. I was getting motion sick in my own house. I had to contact my home warrenty again and again they put me through to Fast response (Sunday). I decided I wasnt going to wait another month to get service so I called them first to schedule when they could come out (tuesday). I was informed they could come out that day after 5pm - perfect! only they didnt show nor call. I called again wednesday was apologized to and told I would recieve a call for service...no call. I called again thursday and got to talk to the same person. she said she would be writing an email to the "scheduler" and I should hear back... I didnt. This morning (Friday) I get a call from the "scheduler" she stated they could be at my house in 10mins, I politely told her I was at work and that would not work could they come after 4 or 5? She said No they would call back. Wait! - I said can you set up a schedule for me so I can be available. She then explained they dont schedule they will call you when they are in your area and availible, if your not then they will try again later. Thats insaine! I said that could theoretically go on for ever I demand you create an appointment for me I dont care if its a week out but I have to plan and schedule. She simple put thats not how we do things here and hung up. I dont usually write reviews but im furious. I called my home warrenty and had them find a different company with in 10 mins I am scheduled for Monday between 3-6pm with AirMax heating and cooling. Save yourself a head ache and go else where.

My experience with this company is horrible. The people are rude and condescending. The lack of communication with anyone outside of their company is non existent. I have had to initiate all communication to this company. They have set an appointment to repair my issue and then no called/no showed. They have lied to me about what they were going to do. I asked them to report the diagnosis to the Home Warranty (HW) company so they could decide if I needed a repair or if a replacement was warranted. They told me that they were going to report the diagnosis to my home warranty company and they never did. When I called them on this, they stated that it was standard procedure that "we just repair as that is all the HW company ever tells them to do". I again stated that I had asked my HW company about a replacement and that they would need the diagnosis from the repair company to make that determination. To this day, the HW company has not received a diagnosis from Fast Response. I just now called Fast Response to get an update on my repair. I was informed that they needed to order a new part. I was told that the part is due in tomorrow. (I seriously doubt I will hear from them tomorrow.) I asked them why I was not contacted about this status. I was told; "it is not our policy to call the customer about a status of the repair. We only call to schedule a time to come out to the home." What arrogance, what OUTSTANDING customer service. I will NEVER again use Fast Response for ANY repairs. If I could give them a zero star rating, I would. Do not trust this company. Do not use this company. They do not communicate and will lie repeatedly.

Terrible ....Beware ..Stay away by all means ..!! This company was sent to me by American Home Shield . I did not know this company had 75 percent unsatisfactory rating on Better Business Bureau website and dozens of 1 star rating reviews like the one I am about to write . They came to fix my AC which is relatively new less than 5 year old system it was cooling perfectly fine till the night before and then the system stopped kicking in at the thermostat setting that it is supposed to - most probably an electrical problem . Instead he diagnosed that I had a freon leak and quoted me outrageous amount that would not be covered by American Home Shield , I declined to pay for it . The next day an independent 5 star rated company came for 2nd opinion and I explained them the whole event . They told me the pressure in the duct was -8.2 and they have never seen this in a situation like this, the diagnosis that Fast response made is not consistent based on complaints that I presented with , my unit was apparently tempered with or mishandled so they can charge me huge amount for Freon. I have serious concerns about credentials and ethics and integrity of this company and I can never recommend this company to other fine unsuspecting Americans. I also recommend American Home Shield customers to check Vendors ratings before allowing some one in their home ..! the reason I am giving 1 star is because giving negative 5 is not an option..!!! my rating minus 5

This company was sent to my home by my HSA, we needed to have someone check our unit due to a leak that happened two weeks prior that was repaired by an excellent company that works 24/7. When they finally arrived with little to no communication on time frame or days. They proceeded to give us their precious 10 minutes or less saying that they needed to replace the coil...not the issue but thanks. Then complained the temporary repair was shoddy??! They proceeded to explain what they would repair and we would hear from them Monday. A week and half later nothing....finally after several calls to the HSA we were told "no issues". So now after reading all the terrible reviews. Does this company just make the HSA fee and treat people like garbage?! Never...never will I recommend this poorly ran company for any reason. My disappointment at the lack of professional and ethical behavior by this company has made sure I will always check reviews before allowing people in my home. Additional information-after the HSA sent a second company to review the unit. They confirmed there were issues. Also confirmed they spend majority of the time following on your calls. You receive $75 from the homeowner $125 from the HSA and ten calls a day...looks like an easy busy plan to rip people off. Enjoy your F rating on the better business bureau.

Fast Response provided the best service that we have received from any home repair contractor. Indeed, we were at the point of filing legal action against the first vendor that our home warranty company dispatched to our home to repair our AC unit, who failed to do after 3 weeks and actually damaged a second AC unit. After 3 weeks of failing to repair, our home warranty company dispatched Fast Response. Fast Response arrived almost immediately and "Chris" diagnosed the situation. Fast Response/Chris made the initial repairs to get through the Fourth of July weekend which was sweltering, and offered several key solutions. To our welcome surprise, Fast Response/"Rob" visited on the Sunday of Fourth of July weekend to begin prep work for installation of a new unit on Monday. On Monday, Fast Response arrived first thing in the morning and installed the new unit. Fast Response was the most professional and knowledgeable contractor that we have had at our home. They explained the situation in understandable terms and priced services and supplies quite reasonably. Fast Response arrived in uniform, with presentable vehicles, and had state of the art technology to get the job done right. Simply, Fast Response is best in class.

Our service was excellent from the time I called until our technician was walking out the door after having fixed the furnace. I had two different technicians out to my house prior to calling Fast Response, both of which told me after over an hour of working that the furnace was shot and they would be happy to replace it. Robby, our Fast Response technician, had my furnace fixed and running within 20 minutes. He was so polite and made sure to explain to me what he had done and why that solved the problem. He was gracious and patient as I asked a lot of what I am sure are ridiculously naive questions, making sure that I also understood how my furnace worked. Robby also made sure to go the extra mile cleaning the furnace and even dusting around the area. I was very comfortable with him in my home and would trust him completely for future HVAC needs. It is truly a weight off my shoulders to have found a trusted ally in keeping my home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The review by Julie Durham may be under my name. After the rep that visited our home confirmed there were issues we were informed by our warranty that Fast Response found "no issues." We had a 2nd opinion come out from the warranty company this morning and they confirmed repairs were needed. The 2nd company also stated they did about 30 follow up calls a month where Fast Response initially visited. They apparently have an entire revenue stream where they just collect the warranty service fee and do no actual work. DO NOT go with this company. UPDATED RESPONSE:Your rep confirmed there were issues when he was at our home. Not sure what happened between him leaving and filing the report. I noticed you did not offer to come back out and look at it because that means you would have to do actual work. I have said my piece. The only reason I posted this is so I can hopefully inform other consumers to avoid this company in the future.

This is the 2nd time that I have had Fast Response to my home and my experience with them was fantastic each time. This time my ac had stopped working. Rob came and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and repaired the ac. The valve on the ac had failed and all the Freon had leaked out. Granted it was not cheap to recharge with Freon but that is NOT the fault of Fast Response. I was told up front what the cost for each pound would be if that was the problem. Rob replaced the valve and cap and recharged the ac and each time he had to come into the house, he put on shoe covers. He stayed until he was sure we had cool air. He was very professional and extremely kind. He took the time to explain each step. The staff at Fast Response were very courteous and kept me informed on when Rob would be coming to my home. I would have absolutely no problem recommending Rob to any of my family and friends!!!

I highly recommend Fast Response Heating & Cooling for furnace and/or air conditioning service! They came promptly with one of the more knowledgeable and communicative technicians (Robert) that I have ever dealt with in over 35 years of home ownership. He not only quickly diagnosed and fixed the problems with my furnace and AC that had been mis-diagnosed and not fixed by another service company who had made numerous service calls, but also detected and repaired sloppy workmanship that had resulted in great inefficiencies of my AC unit. Robert is simply the best! Willing to not only fix, but to take the time to clearly explain what was wrong and what he was doing to repair it. My 20+ yr AC has never worked better than since they serviced it. Again, I highly recommend not only Fast Response Heating & Cooling, but specifically, Robert!!

Originally I was not happy with this company and posted a review that reflected my dissatisfaction. I should stress I was not unhappy with the work the company does but their customer service and scheduling policies. After posting the review the owner of the company called me later that day to make the situation right. I found this incredibly refreshing. Frustrations aside, when a company bends over backwards to rectify a situation that stands out today. They came out on a Sunday evening to fix my AC and called again a few days later to check on the problem. They even let me know they were making some changes to their customer service and scheduling policies. While I regret the original misunderstandings, I am thrilled Fast Response Heating & Cooling are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are happy.
