We had a tower room...very nice, very clean!!!No smoke smell in this room...nice TV and a great bed. We did n ot have a view room (we overlooked the parking lot) but all in all we really enjoyed our two night stay. The Dam is close by as is Historic Boulder City. Plenty to do and the movie theaters show top rated films at a VERY reasonable price. For the price the buffet is very good, the staff is excellent and the coffee shop is in the same room...so if you prefer to order from the menu, you can. The only drawback is that you cannot buy a take out meal from the coffee shop/resturant if you have someone under the weather who cannot make it to the buffet/resturant. they do have a food court but mostly that food is not great for anyone with an upset tummy. Over all, it is fine. We have been here several years ago and we missed the Tribute Show that was in the Stage Bar.They had an Elvis, a James Brown (WOW), a Neil DIamond and several other tribute artists..The crowd loved them and we were disappointed to find that they are no longer there...Part of our reason to return was to see them.they were all so friendly and outgoing....should have been on the Vegas Strip in a Legends show!!!!!!!!!!! Next visit we plan to search for those performers!!!!!!!! What a show!!!!!!!!!

The hotel is very broad in their rooms. You can see that the hotel already has its time (and I think it could use some renewed). The service at the reception was always friendly (there is a Hispanic girl who checked us really well and resolved all our doubts). The place has a large parking problem but we parked our vehicle. It is located 5 minutes from the Hoover Dam. Do not visit the casino area and not the restaurant so I can not comment anything. It is a good place to spend a weekend if you visit Las Vegas and surrounding areas. (The Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, etc).

Good hotel with great location. Fi but a disaster, channels as well, no HBO. Rooms are very spacious, huge bathroom, ice machine on each floor. In-room coffee maker, no fridge. Below is a casino, evenings with live music. Gym and outdoor pool. Washing machines available. We were on our way to Las Vegas, have there ever slept, to visit the Hoover Dam. The is only a few minutes away by car, as is Lake Mead. Start helicopter to a Hoover Dam Air Tour opposite the hotel.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL! I gave the Hover Dam Lodge my credit card to hold 9 rooms for my team that was heading to Lake Mead for an event. Two days before we were to check in the ran an authorization on my card, charging my card for 9 rooms. The next day I called to cancel my reservation, which was within the 24 hours of their cancellation policy. After I cancelled the reservation we put the reservation in another coaches name since I could not go to the event. They charged my card a second time. I called them to ask why they charged my account. They said it was a mistake and the money would be reimbursed within 24 hours. The next day they charged my card again for 8 rooms at three different amounts, the highest amount being $189. Over a two day period they charged my account $2,368 after I had cancelled my reservation. Please do not book with this hotel. The only answer they could give me was that they had a made a mistake and we would get reimbursed within 3 days.

Yes upgrades are nice. But overall quality mediocre at best. Girls do try to take care of their locals with service. The gaming is hideous. And so tight you will be amazed. I have seen better gaming and promotions at Indian casinos that are even tighter. The indian casinos machines are played on a consistent basis with a 60 dollar a day avg payout. Call the casino and ask what the daily avg payout is most and all casinos should have no problem answering that question.be very careful at this casino because they are tighter and not played. Zero avg payout on most machines Hence if you gamble your in for an ass kickin so stay away. Fair warning. The casino and the estey family should be ashamed of themselves for destroying an DAM good casino with way more local love. The estey family is like the walmart family, cheap and needs to be ran out of our country. If the family had any huevos they would talk with customers.

If you appreciate great clean rooms, nice and friendly service and prices in the cafe mm in just the low end without quality is there for, I would recommend this place. Ex one 35cl can of cola is 89cent, a cup of filter coffee is $ 1.07 and refeel is free ..

Could have easily stayed an extra night. Was really great. A star is deducted because of the non-existent breakfast, which is relatively expensive (8 to 10 euros) can then be taken in one of the restaurants inside. Otherwise great place to stay

A very bad experience. I recommend this place to my friends from Chicago. Never having seen the rooms I asked to go up with them. What a surprise no dressers or place to put folded clothes. I checked with the front desk to complain and was told "tell your friends if they want a dresser that have to upgrade to a deluxe room". The lady at the front desk was rude and inconsiderate of my friends needs. I live a few minutes from this hotel and will never go there or recommend to anyone. There are to many nicer places in Boulder City.

We have been members at this hotel and casino we loved to come and play here but now The Hacienda is under new management and things are not the same we used to get a free room with our cdl, but not anymore they have taken this and many incentives away. We had to scan our bank card plus leave a cash deposit to get a room the room rate was not that high it was just the point that we felt like our account was being checked to see if we have money, we will not be visiting The Hacienda again. We will be staying at Railroad Pass.

Stopped here as part of a tour package, which included a bus to Hoover Dam, a helicopter ride, and lunch at the lodge. The lodge is quiant, clean, and has multiple different casino rooms. Lunch was adequate, but nothing special. Will say that the tomato soup was delicious. All staff members were very courteous and helpful. From what other tour members said, the slots were a lot looser than at the big Vegas strip casinos. If I was in this area again, I would have no hesitations about staying here.

Extremely clean, loved that aspect. So nice compared to any casino. We ate in diner and prime rib was superb and large portion. The 1/2 chicken was done but tougher meat. Service was prompt. Could have a better variety of lower priced slots, everything is 30 cents to 50 for 1 coin bet on pennies. They need to let you know soda and water is serve yourself. No cell phone service at all inside. That was the biggest draw back. Lots of activities available. Cleanest hotel in the west.

I stayed at this hotel when I travel for business. I liked the cheap breakfast and the nightly buffet was great but there one problem. When you check into the hotel over the phone the front desk writes your credit card number down, which I think is standard for most hotels. One of the staff at this hotel stole my credit card number and made numerous transactions onto my account. I know that it had to come from this hotel because this is the only place I use my credit card.

The lodge is very close to Lake Mead and you can walk the old railroad tracks to the Hoover Dam, this is why we chose this location for our one-night stay. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Unfortunately, the casino in the entrance allows smoking and so you smell it everywhere, even though smoking is not allowed in the rooms the hallways smelled and as a non-smoker this is really hard to stomach before even having breakfast. Most of the staff was nice and helpful.

Cozy Lodge right next to the highway. Amazingly, however, you get into the room with nothing from the noise. Otherwise very strongly to Las Vegas ajar with several casinos. For one night completely ok.

After Chasing all the locals away they took out live gaming. I am told very tight machines. A 7-Eleven in the middle of the casino. Asking $4 for a small bag of potato chips. Very high liquor and wine prices. Very nice lodge themed Decor inside and out. However they ruined outside by adding 10 small obtrusive signs. Cheapins the place. Never heard anything positive about the food. You will like Casino if you enjoy quietness. no action.

Worse of the worst, blatantly racist. The worse form of racism, the worst experience that I have ever encountered in my life. To be seated in the center of a dining area, surrounded by a room full of white people, waited for an hour and no one took our order. People that entered after us was served. When I attempted to address it the hostess stated with a smeark "I know how you feel" #America2016 # BlackLivesMatter

Friendly staff. There are several restaurants with in and also several different genres of casinos to wander into. Very conveniently located near Hoover dam. Lots of truck and oversized parking across the street. They also have a nice photo and video gallery of the history of Hoover Dam. I found that interesting. Definitely worth staying here if you plan to visit the dam and possibly go on a helitour.

Nice hotel with its own casino. The casino is not crowded and has many slot machines. The shop is surprisingly low and the restaurant sells cheap burgers and breakfast.

Convenient to the Hoover Dam . Room was clean and well stocked with toiletries. The desk staff really need to step up their game though. I had reserved the room online, but things were so disorganized that it took at least 30 minutes to check in. Customer facing staff was neutral at best and apathetic. I would have rated it higher had the interaction with staff been more pleasant.

I was not as impressed with this location as I love their sister site located in Laughlin. The selection of machines is low and the payout ratio seems to be closer to the strip. It seems very odd that these locations cross train their cocktail servers to be slot technicians though. Other than those few things, the overall feel is comfortable. I might try this place again.

For the price, we had a great experience. The lack of a bathtub did not bother us. The carpet in the elevator and halls are dated, but the room was huge and clean. The unexpected surprise was the cafeteria. They seated us late at night when other places were already closed and the food was really good. We ate there for breakfast again and the food was equally as good. Thanks.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. The casino smells of smoke but the rooms do not. We also stopped in the cafe for breakfast on the way out and got the specials... very cheap food prices. .. the food was okay. The coffee tasted like dirt. The price was huhher than advertised on the sign but after 2 days on the road this was a nice place to stay for the night on our way to Vegas

This place was a blessing after a long rough day of traveling with an 8 year old and two dogs. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. This pet friendly establishment offered a great variety of food in the cafe on the main floor. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants great service, nice clean rooms, and great food options.
