If you sign up through the Health Link be careful with this Non-Profit? They issue Temporary Insurance Cards and then refuse to pay Doctors that participate with them and you are stuck with the bills. They have Tiers of Doctors with some having a $ 150.00 Co-Pay that is NEVER shown on the Health Link Site - and then SURPRISE. On the Southern Star Silver Plan (Silver Plans are what most people look for) they pay ZERO on all diagnostic tests until you meet the Full Four Thousand Dollar+ Deductible - Again You sign up and Then SURPRISE ! This company is not ready for Prime Time. Sign Up with a REAL Insurance Company (If the Mess at the Health Link/Xerox is Fixed). So far Noting about any of this is Affordable !!!! Health Care !!!!!!

Like everyone else below I am inclined to agree. I really wanted to like this company, and gave them many chances to redeem themselves but they have yet to do so. They do not care about their customers at all, I have too waited on the line for more than 45 minutes at a time. It has been months and I have still not received my health card due to them signing me up with my name mis spelled. It has been a long three months going back and forth with them, I am definitely ready to find a different health care provider. Do not waste your time with it, it truly was a horrible process throughout it all.

I have had a great experience with Nevada Health Co Op. They have always helped me navigate through the information needed. I have switched plans several times to get the right one for me, and they have been so helpful, patient, knowledgeable and willing to satisfy all my needs. All the staff there have been exceptionally nice and extremely patient. The wait times on the telephone have not been excessive. . . . with the volume of clients, it has been very reasonable. They always have my best interests in the forefront. I recommend this program to anyone who needs it.

When I signed my wife up in Nevada I looked at Nevada Health CO-OP and I asked myself, “do I really want to put this much faith in a one month old company? In a completely untried system?” They now have given notice they will cease operations Jan. 1, 2016. I feel for those stuck with it (both their google and yelp reviews are scathing) but geeze guys, who couldn’t see this coming?

This is a very awfully run network. You will not be able to get in touch with anybody until after 20-30 minutes. Staff is not knowledgeable... They are always saying that the system is not working. It is terrible. Payments I made did not reflect and that puts all my visits to my health care provider in jeopardy, and for sure I will be made to pay for all these visits... awful.

I signed up 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing about my insurance that is supposed to start on March 1st. Nothing in the mail, no email and am now on hold with the company, 25 minutes so far. I hope this in not a sign of things to come in the next year.

What a scam. I had to call these people every time I needed to use my policy and wait on hold for 30 min plus only to be hung up on and call back multiple times. They made my coverage dropped, covered and then dropped in the same month.

Amazing overall service and support, very affordable considering some of the other places I talked to. Got insurance here temporarily between employers but I think I will end up staying a while as they have been extremely helpful!

They were the worst. I paid for a year for it and was never able to use it. each time I went to the pharmacy they said the insurance denied that I was active. But they took my money each month. Glad to see it go!!
