I have dealt with more than one insurance company in my life and although my prior experience, before dealing with Shawn, is from Canada I can say that I was impressed with him on more than one level. My first encounter with Shawn was after my initial move to Cedar Rapids from Ontario, Canada. He handled my case (which had additional complications due the move from another country) expeditiously and courteously. During my stay in Cedar Rapids I experienced some incidents involving sewage from the apartment above dripping in my apartment. Shawn handled my questions and went beyond the line of duty to answer all my questions and to make sure that everything was all right with me. The rates from State Farm are great and this is probably what you would get no matter what agent you selected but I would recommend Shawn for the extra mile he goes for his customers. Work will take me soon to warmer pastures and am sorry to have to transfer my file out of his office. I hope other customers with the same level of experience would share their thoughts in reviews and help Shawn develop his fledgling practice. We moved our business to Shawn a few months ago because of how active he was within our community. As a bonus, we sat down and restructured our home and auto and Shawn pointed out how we could be much more efficient with the premium dollars that we are spending. This staff truly cares about you as an individual more than they care about the revenue you bring to the office. Kudos on doing things the right way. I would have no troubles recommending them to friends and family.

This place is a rip off they gave me over 1k less than what i needed to fix my vehicle. This was after one of their people rear-ended me. They gave me the run around for 2 weeks! I would not want anyone i know having to stress out after an accident... This was the agent that shoud have done all the footwork to take care of me. Instead referred me to an 800 number. Real personable.
