They did not tell my insurance company that they sold my mortgage. They did not tell me to tell the insurance company. They received multiple statements and bills for my home and did nothing. My new mortgage company, Ditech, did not renew my insurance but made sure that they took my escrow money. They then notified me after my policy lapsed and told me I had their in house insurance company. Then tried to sell me a different policy. Of course no one is at fault and I get screwed. Thanks Hallmark. I too missed my closing date twice. I then was told the day before the last closing date that I needed an extra 1000 to close. Worst home buying experience of my life. My realtor even commented on how convoluted things got at every turn.
