Lack of help from the insurance adjuster (Mr.Anthony Wang)and a less than subpar inspection of the damaged vehicles has cost me my business and i am now juggling lawsuits while filing against pekin myself. Note to future customers. Put a lawyer on retainer before you buy, your gonna need them furthermore going up the chain of command was no help. I was told on day 1 not to fix my vehicles(i own a dealership) 22 total vehicles affected(85% of total inventory) it took 4 months for them to offer $850 after a 2500 deductible(total 3300) to fix all the vehicles that includes broken windshields, windows, batteries, radios and other damages caused by a crowbar being used to pry open doors and hoods. 1 truck alone was 2200. I understand attempting to save money but, had the adjuster inspected the vehicles instead of insinuating i had something to do with the crime.... I wouldnt be writing this review now

TERRIBLE INSURANCE FROM DAY 1!!! We had 3 motorcycles. 3 cars and a home policy, so we received 7 separate bills every 6 months. When we got them, sometimes the credits were not on them and had to call in. We paid with one check, and they applied money to 6 policies instead of 7 so we received a cancellation notice for non payment. Two months after our semi-annual payment, received a letter stating we owed another $500+, so I mailed a check. A month later, was informed of a $500 credit; when I asked for ,my money back, they refused, and statd they would apply it to my next 6 months. When we decided enough was enough, we had a new agent from Farm Bureau look over old policies, and he could hardlydecipher them. After cancelling policies, was 6 weeks before credits were finally issued...in 7 different checks, of course! DO NOT RECCOMMNED PEKIN unless you enjoy migranes....

My husband and I were loyal customers to that company for many years, until now, when my husband applied for life insurance and they were not honest with us at the beginning. Hospital made mistake on my husband diagnosis but it was corrected and additional tests were done, they still rejected him and all this game took them 2 years to play until I really realized that its something wrong with Pekin. At the end we understood that we were overcharged for everything house, cars, boat... by switching to All States we were saving 1300$ per year.....unbelivable..... to be honest I am glad it turned this way.....

Recently while 90 miles away from home and enroute to relatives for the holidays I had a claim for over $3600. It was for damage caused by my car being hit by a chunk of ice from a semi that did not stop and I had no information on what company it was with. Pekin had a rental car waiting for me by the time I was towed to the body shop so I could continue on to my destination. Within six hours of the incident and initially contacting Pekin, they had approved the repair of my car. I have never heard of an insurance company acting that fast. Way to go Pekin!

A Private User

Agency failed to rewrite vehicle policy even after repeated phone calls and not to mention giving my information mutiple times. This was over a six week period. Of course a my fault accident occurs. They admit they have to insure and cover this accident because they knew I was driving the vehicle and failed to rewrite the policy. They paid for damages to both vehicles minus the deductible. However they refuse to honor the rental car coverage part of the policy. I have never seen such poor, unprofessional customer service.

Awful, the few times ive had to make claims or deal with them has been awful. It took them 6 months for my first claim when I was hit and I could never get ahold of them. Finally I took partial fault because I was tired of waiting and not being able to drive my car. Then the 2nd time no one ever answers. Then when my bank tries to call for the declaration page they get transferred 17 times and takes them an hour to talk to anyone resulting in having to leave a voicemail. Seriously awful

I can tell you that they have the worst customer service, Claims Representative William B was the worst and pure excuse for a claims representative. My son had a motor blow in his car from a company who did not do an oil change correctly. The company, the company owner and his insurance representative were great, they acknowledge the problem. The insurance company Pekin and the representative were rude, disrespectful. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE TO ANYONE

Best insurance company I have dealt with in my lifetime. I have had a couple of claims with this company and my premium did not increase and I was not cancelled. The claims service was excellent. They even sell pet insurance so now my dog is protected against any expensive procedure. The people I have been in contact with at Pekin Insurance have been fair, honest and friendly.

Pekin is a breath of fresh air. I am so glad they are here in Arizona. I was with AAA for many years and my rates continued to increase. I received a quote from pekin for more coverage and my premium was LESS!!! I was involved in an accident and the claims adjustor was beyond amazing. Made sure I was taken care of. I would recommend this company to everyone!

Stay far away from this company. If you have too many claims they will drop you. We had hail damage and took off the deductible on my car and could not even get the money. I had to have the body shop sign or endorse the check. The body shop refused and never got reimbursed for the damages of the storm. They are only out for themselves stay far away.

For years I never had any claims my insurance 2015 was increase $132, 2016 when up to $316 just in two years total increase $448. When I asked my agent he was not able to give me proper answer. I am getting new insurance company and new agent! Pekin insurance NO longer giving a dam about loyal costumers! Is just maximize profit!

If I could go into the negative to rate this company I would! Failure to return calls, getting bounced around to multiple people and inconsistent information given from adjusters. These are just a few of the issues experienced. If you want an insurance agency with integrity try State Farm. These guys were horrible.

Worst insurance company , My car was declared total loss and they are not even listening to the problem and just giving their value as the actual value of the car though i had paid a lot more to get the car and had enhancements on the car. And the accident was not even my fault it was the fault of the other driver

the web site says open 24 hr a day everyday. the phone number we called will not let us speak to anyone that will help me set up auto insurance. The person i talked to said they didnt have a 800 number either. So i think they should change the web page on google to show their real hours

Cheap worthless piles of crap. a lady with their insurance hit me, caused $1147 worth of damage and they took 3 weeks to decide if they would accept liability, then offered me $1090. screw them use someone else they suck You know I am, contact me to resolve this if you are man enough
