Experiences with Florida AC companies is monumentally bad (at least 3 companies) in my case. After much internet research I called Advanced Air and severeal other companies. It was near the weekend but Michele answered my Email in minutes. She was polite, interested in my problem and extremely helpfful. She also had a great attitude. The other companies called asked for an email description of the problem and my email. They contacted me in one to three days. She said all their techs were all great but Zigfreid was particularly good with my problem. I said no great rush but she sent Zigfried the next day. Zigfreid was taking longer with another customer than expected so Mike showed up precisely on time. Mike acessed the ac did the maintenance and explained updates were not absolutely necessry but would improve the ac. I had a capacitor and a hard start installed. Mike showed me on his gage how the effeciency of the unit was improved. Mike noticed I had two dogs and told me about UV light unit. I had it installed and my wife is eccstatic. It kills bacteria, mold and odors. Mike checked all his work by pulling on wires to see if they were strongly fastened. The kit parts he installed were cheaper than single purchase. They were also much higher quality than what was replaced. Mike stayed past working hours to make sure everything was working well. It was impressive to me that he had all the new parts on the truck without ordering the stuff as other ac venders I used. The price was reasonable . Less than others I used. In three words Advanced Air is GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!

I cannot say enough about the experience that my wife and I had over the last 2 days with Advanced Air and their team. It started with the initial call and ended with the installation. We scheduled an estimate to have a 10 year old AC unit replaced in our vacation home. Jeff Y. showed up and was very professional in his appearance and in his knowledge. He explained what he was doing and then did it! This included measuring our entire home including the closets and then printing out a diagnostic sheet as well as a sheet determining what type of unit we needed based on our home size. He explained all of things that we were questioning and also explained the procedure if we were to choose Advanced Air. After 2 additional (terrible estimates from other companies) it was a No-Brainer. we called Jeff back and scheduled the install for the very next day. Yuset, Carlos, and Jr. showed up and worked diligently from start to finish in order to complete our new install. Each man seemed to have their own set of jobs to do and they did them quickly, quietly, and cleanly. I normally engage in conversation with those doing work in our home but they were so involved I did not want to bother them. However, when I did stop them to ask questions they were quick to give answers. Great guys! It remains to be seen if we will have any trouble (hope not) since we are back in Pa. now, but I am confident that Advance Air did the job that we paid for and if any problems arise I am sure they will fix them. So far so great! Thanks again gang!

My husband and I had just purchased our first home and less than a month later our A/C unit stopped working so you can imagine our frustration. After making a few calls to local AC service providers, my friend recommended Advanced Air. From the beginning, we were very impressed with their level of service. I called the office around 7pm on a Monday night and they sent a specialist to meet with us within the hour. We worked with Jeff Hickcox and we couldn’t have been more pleased. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He made sure we got the best A/C unit for our home at the best price. Jeff arranged the installation for the next day after I got home from work so I didn’t have to take time off from work. He even stopped by to check on the progress of the installation. I also received an email prior to the installers arriving to our home to let us know who we should be expecting. Yuset and Alfredo were friendly, professional and highly efficient. They did a terrific job and even finished faster than expected. They also took the time to explain how the new unit works and answered every question we had. Wende Karen and Lannis the technician were courteous punctual and very knowledgeable, I had my A/C Maintenance done with them and I was hesitant to do a service contract with them due to bad experiences with 2 other companies in the area, Lannis was thorough and made sure everything was in working order, even pointed out and explained and physically showed me 2 problem spots in my Air conditioning unit, both were clearly explained to me and it made total sense, the other companies tried to sell me very expensive UV lights and gadgets to make a perfectly functioning brand new clean A/C unit work better when there was nothing wrong with it as Lannis pointed out. I then had the pleasure to meet Sebastian on the next visit he installed a new Return box in my attic because the people who originally installed it had kinked the air tubes so badly that air was being restricted form flowing through the home, I always wondered why my A/C never blew with much strength, Sebastian made quick work of it and had a new return box installed with in 2 hours. he was very clean efficient and even cleaned up after himself and wore paper booties while entering and exiting the attic and home I recommend this company nothing but a good experience.

Sebastion C with Advanced Air & Refrigeration was absolutely awesome. We just recently bought our first home and it came with a 13 year old A/C system. Maintenance on the system had not been performed in a long time. Our system was not able to keep the house cooler than 80 degrees. Sebastion diagnosed the problem very quickly and informed me of the cost to bring our system back to life before doing any work, giving us a fully transparent view of the cost. The A/C unit is on its last leg and is in need a new replacement. Sebastion was able to get our A/C unit operational and the unit has been working solid since his maintenance. After the repairs were complete he suggested we look in to getting a new one and setup an appointment to get a complete estimate on a new system. The sales appointment was stress free and very educational. There was no pressure to make a decision right now, just explanation of the differences and what would be ideal for our home/budget. This has been by far the best HVAC company I have ever dealt with. Every strep was very transparent and up front. Honest answers,friendly service and reliable appointments.

I have been getting my unit serviced through them for 4+ years. Recently I decided to check on the unit myself (above the garage) and check the filters. What I discovered is that the filter hasn’t been changed in 4 years. When I called the office to discuss what I found they basically blamed me and that I should be changing the filters every month. I guess my concern is when they come out to service the unit, what are they doing exactly and why isn’t someone communicating to me that I need new filters? I doubt any of the elderly are crawling up in the attic of the garage changing their filters, so why isn’t this offered? Also when I purchased a unit new I was promised that each room would be evaluated for its air distribution and adjustments would be made. That wasn’t really done and follow up to my concerns was poor. I paid close to $10,000 for this unit, it should work to perfection. Of course once they have your money like many service companies, you are done.

Expecting 8 family members tostayinmy home to attend the memorial service for my recently deceased wife. Last night the main A/C began cycling on and off but not cooling. I called the 24hour number and spoke to Tammy and she arranged to have Sebastian, my regular technician come today who confirmed I had a MAJOR problem...( he is so intelligent and thorough) he immediately called a member ofthe sales dept(Rob Smith) who throughly examined my unit,my electrical panel and my attic hardware. He explained my options and called the company headquarters and scheduled my replacement unit on this Sunday ( even speaking withthe president ,Bill Blaze to facilitate replacing the unit ..Howis that for coordinated team work for esteemed technician, to sales rep to president of the company in a few short hours on a Friday aft noon. Sent email to 4 A.C. companies via Yelp on a Sunday morning before Memorial Day Monday. Advanced was first to respond by a phone call. Asked a few questions and dispatched a tech in less than 1 hour from my email request for service. Patrick called to confirm he was on his way and then when he was 15 minutes away. Polite on arrival. Right to work. No chit chat. Had the issues diagnosed in 15 minutes and was trouble shooting other areas. Gave me an estimate and showed me how to save money with a yearly PM contract. Which we should have already had in place. (Duh) Hot garage on a hot day but he kept at it until all was cleaned out and running. Put on booties to go inside to check thermostat. Was able to explain the repair and PM needed. Made sure outside unit was fully charged. Service on a Sunday? Polite and friendly service tech? Not up selling a new unit. Willing to work on the old one? Very Nice! WOULD RECOMMEND.

Sebastian C recently gave us service on our system two times. First service was for a 126 alert that would go on and off, mostly off. Sebastian C checked thoroughly and found a damaged wire connection and repaired it with care. 126 alert has not reappeared. This can be a very frustrating service issue! A week later Sabastian C returned for our Spring check up and routine maintenance. He appeared to do this with care and kept me informed about our system and what he recommended. He noticed some increased build up on the copper coil. He inserted an item that is supposed to minimize this potential problem for the future. He explained what he recommended and why it was important. Sabastian C was thurough, appeared knowledgeable, and was professional in providing all of our service. He appears to be a very valuable member of your service team. I would recommend him to anyone seeking your service.

Advanced Air & Refrigeration technicians went beyond their normal working hours to make sure my family and I had our air conditioning system replaced and working again. Their sense of pride on the work delivered shows what this company is about. This is the second time we use their services and we recommend them to anyone needing refrigeration work. While replacing our AC system we were notified of issues with the air ducts and the need for replacement. Since we had originally discarded that recommendation it became clear the status of the ducts was deplorable. Again the Advanced Air & Refrigeration team did a wonderful job while replacing the air duct system. They were on time as scheduled, performed the work in the most professional way possible, cleaned up after themselves and left the system running flawless. Our system efficiency increased noticeable confirming their technicians knowledge.

Service was quick and everything checked good for my yearly inspection, Patrick explained how a home inside air analysis tests the air you breath inside my house and may suggest ways to improve the quality (wife has COPD ). Patrick started a home air quality Analysis for me. Tony checked my ac system on 03/13/2017 and everything was good. My six month inspection was for 09/13/2017 but we had Hurricane Irma On 09/21/2017 Tony came out for my service inspection and we found my ac package unit was full of water and mold from the Hurricane and storms. I decided it would be better to replace the system because of all the mold. I contacted Jeff Hickcox for a Proposal and had Hermes T. and Yuset C. replace my system on 09/28/2017. Every-one was great and everything went perfectly as planned. The New system is working great.

We own a second home in Naples Florida. As a result of Irma our air conditioning system failed. I called Advanced Air as they had put the system in. Within two hours of my call a technician was at our home even though it was in the evening. Javier C was very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the unit was not repairable. He gave us the information to set up an appointment with a sales representative. Jeff Hickcox came out the next morning and went over various options with us. He was also prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. We opted for a complete new system. This was installed within five days. The install techinicians, Hermes T and Yeset were great! In 90+ degree heat they installed the unit efficiently and it began running immediately. I would highly recommend this company .
