6 years ago, while building a large addition to our home, we decided to add central air for the first time along with the heating units we needed. We used a well know local company in Milford for the purchase and installation. Our purchase included a top of the line Trane system, a tankless water heater, and the allergy air effects system. Since it was installed we have had nothing but issue after issue. We continued to use the company that installed the eqiuptment for service on the system. Every time they came out (routinely or emergency service) we were spending thousands of dollars without the issue being solved. Last fall, on the recommendation of several friends/co-workers, we made the decision to switch to Climate Partners. What a difference! Issues are resolved the right way the first time. The bills for the service calls and maintenance were drastically reduced. The maintance services included everything that was promised with no unexpected charges. They are always prompt and friendly. The technicians are very knowledgable and take the time to explain the answers to any questions we have. They are also very clean and tidy - always wearing booties over thier shoes and cleaning up the work area. (They even mopped up the melted snow on my floor after a late night service call this past winter.) I find them to be 110% commited to customer service and a job well done. I am so happy that we switched, and also plan on scheduling a home energy audit with they very soon! I wish we had gone with them from the start!!

Buyer beware! Do your homework!! We called Climate Partners LLC for a routine maintenance service visit and the technician put a huge hole in the condenser coil rendering the unit inoperable. Initially Climate Partners lied and refused to take any ownership of the damage. Climate Partners claimed there was a year-old leak in the coil that spontaneously and coincidentally ruptured while the technician was servicing the unit. The Climate Partners owner did not return my calls for five weeks and claimed he only received one of my messages. We had to get real AC professional to assess the damage and thoroughly inspect the unit. This AC professional noted in his report that "this ‘hole’ was not from wear or tear nor years of exposure [to the elements]”. The hole was caused by something sharp. Further, the AC professional wrote that he “cannot prove this hole was intentionally created but the situation is far from typical and disturbingly coincidental." This routine service call will end up costing well over $11k!! Our complaints with all the gory details have been submitted to Ripoff Report, the BBB and the CT Department of Consumer Protection. Note, if we did our homework before hiring Climate Partners, we would have learned about other complaints submitted to these agencies by other customers. There are 22 complaints alone on file with the CT Department of Consumer Protection under license # S1-302545, SM1-790.

Climate Partners installed central air system in my home April 2016. I chose them over 5 other contractors because of the competitive price for a good quality HVAC system, plus the knowledge and information that the rep, Brian, provided in helping me make an informed decision. Other estimates were unsure about the electrical requirements and wiring. Upon installation, there were some issues that came up, such as large holes in the attic floor (to run up thermostat wiring) were not covered and a supply duct snaked around a stud towards center of room - when I requested that all ducts run along perimeter of room because we intended to finish the attic. There was initial reluctance to return to correct the issues but because the owners (Tom and even Mom :) periodically sends emails and postcards to check at every step of the process then it only took 1 email to them and they immediately responded and staff came to correct, even if i had to take on the removal of the stud. I have not used the a/c yet as it has not gotten warm enough yet. I am hoping that the service will continue to be good if I run into issues when we start using the a/c.

If you were to ask anyone who knows me they would tell you that I am a perfectionist. That is why we will not use anyone nor allow anyone to perform work in our home other then Climate Partners. (Needless to say we have had some negative experience with other local companies in our area). I could not be more pleased with all of the work that has been completed. Climate Partners is a company that delivers professional service at a very reasonable price. As someone who is very meticulous I am very happy with the great job done by the crew. Todd and his technicians spent lots of time explaining how the heating and cooling system works and how to keep system efficient, it is rare to find this now a days. The air flow through the vent has improved dramatically, it even reaches the 3rd floor. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I give the company and their employees 10 stars.

Service this week was mixed on the front half; great on the back half. When my heat cut out late Sunday night (5-year old Lennox forced-air system installed by Climate Partners), I called in the error code Monday morning. A technician was out by around 11AM (good), ran diagnostics and left an hour later, saying I needed a replacement part that would need to be ordered. His notes? The same error code I’d called in earlier that morning. When I checked later in the day, the part hadn’t been ordered due to long hold times with Lennox, so they were going to try in the AM. That lack of urgency was frustrating. On the other hand, once the part was ordered, the next technician, Mike Coleman, was out on Friday afternoon, working around my work schedule, got the new part swapped in quickly, and was super-friendly. His work turned a 2-star review around.

Our experience with Climate Partners was THE WORST. The technicians appear to be incompetent, took multiple visits to diagnose simple issues ( luckily it was under warranty then). The company does not stand behind its own guarantee once your warranty period is over- THIS IS WHEN THEY GET YOU. Even though we paid the optional "system recommissioning" charge on a repair they performed and next day after the repair same system problems presented, Climate Partners would NOT honor their own guarantee. Service manager was dodging our phone calls and was rude when he finally called back. I would recommend all to STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST ENTERPRISE.

Anthony from Climate Partners, LLC, came to my house and performed heat maintenace on my oil-fired furnace. He changed my air filter, strainer and nozzle and then did a full combustion analysis. After he was done, he had some very practical recommendations and suggestions to make my system work even more efficiently. Anthony took the time to explain everything to me in simple easy to understand terms. I felt satisfied that a professional HVAC "guy" was looking out for me. Based on my experience with Climate Partners, LLC, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs professional, and courteous service!

Climate Partners saved our summer! We had been told by another company that we needed to replace our units and air handler. Anthony from Climate Partners came the day we called and showed us that some wires needed to be replaced. Anthony had us cooling down immediately and was devising a plan going forward. He called for a team member to respond and discuss options. Bob arrived in under 5 minutes, literally. We discussed options at great length and determined what would be the most cost effective system that would provide reliable safe heating. The installation is scheduled to begin within 24 hours. Very Good Service and fair pricing. Our central AC unit went out while we were on vacation. Climate Partners came out the next day and repaired the unit. It was a quick fix because we actually needed a new unit. The next week we received a new unit. Everyone we dealt with along the way was great. I would say the knowledge, service, and price of this company is better than any of the competition. I would recommend Climate Partners to anyone that needs service or a new unit.

He found 1 issue we were not aware of and also pointed out another opportunity to improve upon the way something was done previously. Climate Partners recently installed a new Boiler-Combi unit in my home for DHW & Heating. They did a great job quoting the job and working with me to meet my specific needs. The job was completed on schedule and in a very neat manner. I did have a small manufacturer issue with the boiler unit within the first couple months and CP came out and solved the problem immediately at no charge.
