I have had a banking account at Bellco for one year. Recently I was considering changing banks because I always had to wait at least 20 minutes to make a deposit. Recently I went there to cash some Federal Bonds and deposit them into my account. It was apparent that employees at Bellco are not familiar with this process. I deposited a large amount amount into my account. A month later I receive and email from a bank. We have LOST your bonds so they will be debiting my account by the amount, I deposited. So they lose my bonds and they debit my account. They are not concerned that my identity could be stolen from information on these bonds. I would think as a bank you have to honor your deposit slips and if you LOSE bonds that is on the bank.

Bellco does a great job training the tellers, they are always pleasant. My biggest complaints are the way marketing spends our money. - The way they spend our money on many of their sponsorships - All home mortgages have a 1% origination fee, not very competitive. Some banks have better interest rates than Bellco, what a shame. - Auto loans are not as competitive as other Credit Unions. Credit Unions were set set up by the members, for the members - Bellco seems to have lost sight of this motto. Just some thoughts of a 20 year member...
