To be quite “honest”, the only reason I can imagine why someone would not get a loan from NorthStar is because s/he has not paid back other loans!!!! I have been a member of NorthStar Credit Union since 1991 and would NEVER think of conducting my “banking” anywhere else! The staff is delightful, courteous and knowledgeable. I have had three car loans, two mortgages, and two home equity loans at NorthStar. The rates were/are unbeatable, more importantly, service has been friendly and prompt! When I had questions, all I had to do was call and someone would pick up the phone and answer my questions immediately!!!! Imagine that at a bank!! I also have my checking account and savings accounts there and would not dream of moving them anywhere else. My daughter has her checking account and credit card at NorthStar; I have referred many colleagues, friends as well as family members to NorthStar and they have not been disappointed!!!!
