I received a communication by mail which suggested that communicate me express to you and I was treated by a service representative very friendly and polite customer which transfers me to his manager who did not understand my explanations, was insistent, not very gentle and even mentioned words in my name that I never said. I do not think that is right and less augur the customer that the vehicle would decompose. The only important data seemed to be a card for payment ... amazing. I imagine that everything is recorded and achieve better treatment.

I received a letter in the mail about putting warranty coverage on my car. I just bought a 2010 luxury car with low mileage. I’ve already had it inspected by my ASE certified mechanic before I purchased it. My car was given a very big A by my mechanic. The call to find out about the coverage started well, until the price was given. It costs $3893 for 5 year 100,000 mile. If you don’t have that up front you can make 18 payments of $199 with $295 due at time of agreement. This is a standard cost, so I would say the price is fair. It’s the pushy sales tactics used that makes me give them 1 Star. The representative named Brandon became sarcastic after I told him I wanted to think about the warranty and get back with them if I decided to purchase. He started giving me scenarios of a repair that cost $1500, how would I pay that. I told him I have a savings account. He then would begin to laugh and ask me if I’d rather go on vacation or pay for a repair. It disgusted me so much I just hung up as he continued to talk. Beware of high pressure sales tactics and jerks!

I have received multiple letters from carshield, the last one with "urgent" and "Immediate response requested" written all over it. Confused, I called to find out what it was about...I have both manufacturers warranty PLUS a secondary warranty I had purchased on my vehicle that fully covers my car for the next 100,000 miles or so and thought it had something to do with the one I had purchased. The first person to answer the phone was very polite, but then she transferred me over to some guy who was extremely rude and was trying to push their coverage on me even after I explained I already had 2 warranties. The phone cut off after he said sarcastically, " What are you gonna do if your car breaks down?" What a joke. I would never use a company that is so unprofessional and desperate for business.

04/01/17 Just call me I get a notification and talk to the customer serivicio, the young seems that all that matters is that the payment was also very rude realize nothing gentle, I said that before accept the service you had to further investigate the I replied that I did not have to find out just payment.

Send out very deceptive "Personal and Confidential - Open Immediately" mail after you buy a new car. The letter makes you believe you should have already contacted them for a service contract. The letter makes you think it is official from your car manufacturer, and makes you think you better call, else "you will be responsible for paying for any repairs". Sadly these deceptive letters work, and make many people buy service contracts, in my case it would have been for 2023, that is when my warranty expires(!) Wonder what guarantees me that these scammers are still in business in 2023?

Called today for a price quote and only a price quote. Once the sales people learned that I had no intention of buying today they started using high pressure sales tactics. This is something that I have never responded to very well. In addition, when I tried to explain that I was only shopping for price quotes at the moment the sales person became very rude. NOT a very good way to make a sale. I may or may not come back to Carshield to do my business, depending on what else I find out there for comparable coverage, but I will not tolerate high pressure sales or rude sales people.

Would not talk to me about coverage unless wife was on phone to. After I told him I had to talk to her first. Only gave me to option to start coverage without talking to my wife, or to forget it. Ask to send me information either by mail or e-mail. Told me it had to be done today over phone. Guy was very disrespectful and rude. Not going to be pushed into something without seeing it on paper first.

I was transfered to a specialist and told him I would like them to stop sending me mail because I already have a warenty. He tried and tried to get my credit card number and I finally told him once again that I do not want their warranty and before I was able to finish my sentence, he rudely interrupted me and hung up. Get your stuff straight and learn not to be rude!

I would not recommend this company. They are issuing a refund however even though they admitted that the original salesman knew I had a rebuilt title they did not end up honoring my contract or claim. All I had was a fender bender but they said it was policy and nothing they could do.

Super annoying mailers. Says "Important" "Personal and Confidential" and "Open Immediately" on the envelope. Yet its unclear who the mailer is from. The letter itself is like the spam that is filtered out of my email. Not even sure how they have my address in the first place.
