Peak systems ignored a request from me to place a pier differently and then changed the bracket types they used with no notification. They show standard brackets (under the foundation) on their literature, the design listed standard brackets, but the installers drilled holes in the side of my foundation and installed flush-mount brackets on the side of the foundation. The installers took longer, broke bricks intentionally on the house that took months to get repaired, they created large cracks in a concrete slab by breaking it apart instead of cutting the holes that they needed, and no one at peak took responsibility for my concerns. All through the process they seemed more concerned about getting paid than about the job they were doing. If you want a company that you can trust to do what they promise, look elsewhere! UPDATE July 13, 2013 - After posting the original review, the owner of Peak and the engineer who did the design for my house came out and reviewed the project. They assured me that the brackets chosen were sufficient. They agreed that the concrete work done by the crew was poorly done and committed to splitting the cost of a new slab with me. I believe them when they say my experience with them was not the normal experience of their customers and they have made a significant effort to make up for mistakes made. I can recommend Peak Basement Systems now with the caveat that if you care about the pier types used make sure they agree and follow through before starting the project. I am also happy to report that the piers have stopped the movement of our foundation.

Peak Structural did a fantastic job stabilizing our house’s foundation after it settled last year. Our project manager Brian made sure the construction flowed seamlessly and was very accommodating to my father. The majority of our work was done indoors. The dust from construction was a major concern as we have my ninety-two-year-old father living with us. When I mentioned my concern for dust he addressed the issue and was able to keep it from flowing upstairs using tarps. Furthermore, the crew was very accommodating with regards to my father’s mobility issues and were quick to move cars and trucks out of the way when I needed to take him out. The crew was also able to work within the confines of a very short crawl space. I was impressed they were able to fit themselves in there, and somehow they got the equipment in as well. In the middle of the seven-day project we were hit by a fairly large snow storm. Peak Structural continued operating like clockwork under adverse weather conditions. The snow and the frozen ground that followed slowed down some of the digging and threatened to push the project past its deadline. Brian who was sick at the time, rallied a couple of other crew member and came in to work on a Saturday and managed to finish within the allotted time. His attitude showed a determination to providing excellent customer service that is rarely seen in most businesses. If I had to do it again I would make the same decision, but I won’t have to do it again because of the life-time warranty that is now on my foundation. Really an excellent job! thanks guys.

I would definitely rank Peak Structural as one of the most professional and quality companies I have ever had interaction with. From the time of my first inquiry on the phone with a receptionist to the crew that did our foundation repair, every person, without exception, was courteous and professional. Cameron was the team Foreman today, and this young man was a person you would want in your family!...so pleasant to deal with, conscientious about every detail to make sure everything was done just right, took time to explain every step along with progress reports and photos as the project progressed and even volunteered to inspect other parts of our foundation not included in the project to just make sure everything was safe and sound. He actually found one foundation steel beam jack dating back to the date of house construction that had completely decayed and was able to replace this on the same trip even though this was not included in the scope of the project for that day. The two men assisting him were also tops! They dealt with heavy materials, dirt, and gravel without any mess at all and the finished quality of their work was outstanding. Prior to the work being done, we received thorough printed materials explaining what would be done with detailed descriptions of all materials that would be utilized in the project…as well as timely reminders from the office from the time of first inspection to the time of the actual work day. I cannot highly recommend this Company high enough!!

Shortly after moving into my home 20 years ago, I noticed some dry wall cracks. Though some stabilized, some seemed to be increasing in length and width, causing me great concern. Nathan from Peak Structural came out in early 2016 and very thoroughly evaluated every aspect of my home, checking to see if walls were bowing, the floors were level, perimeter foundation check, main beam structural check and moisture in the crawlspace. They found that my house was generally in great shape, but the the jacks in the crawlspace were misplaced and had, over time, tilted on their footings. The fix was actually quite reasonable, requiring only installation of new smart jacks. I was please that Peak offered a program to adjust them yearly. In August, I noticed an increase in my cracks and Nathan came out immediately and reevaluated my home. Due to our very wet Spring and Summer, water had accumulated in my crawlspace. Now we will be adding a clean-space encapsulation in order to mitigate any chance of rot and reduce my chance of mold entering the house. Nathan was a wonderful technician, explaining every aspect of the testing and plan to correct it. I am fully confident that my problem will be corrected and my house will be stabilized for the long term. I highly recommend Peak Structural and Nathan for their expertise, service and reasonable cost.

This experience started out as a disaster as the original crew did a terrible job, so much so that when I called the supervisor after the first day of work, I had a list of easily 15 things that were clearly wrong. Fortunately, I then was assigned a new crew who came in and tore down everything the original crew had put up. They started from scratch and our final basement crawlspace looks fabulous! It is everything Peak Structural told us it would be: clean, warm, with no access to outside rodents, insects or weather. So much so that we trust the new beautiful space to hold our summer wardrobes this winter. The new foreman, Brandon Dodd as well as his crew, Austin and Jaxon were outstanding. They were in and out without us even noticing and left the place cleaner than they found it, for sure. As frustrated as I initially was, I am so impressed by the way Peak Structural handled the challenge and took care of everything so that our finished crawlspace is amazing.

Work on my foundation wall (rock and limestone) was done in a single day and they coordinated the wall repair to ensure there would be enough room for the water heater next to it, which was an extremely tight fit. Their repair job also seems to be quite exceptional, and I have no doubt my foundation, which was crumbling and about to fall over (it was leaning into my water heater and furnace!), will now last for many years to come. They also installed a sump pump in my mechanical closet (where the wall, water heater, and furnace were) to alleviate new code issues and also protect not only the repaired foundation wall, but all of my foundation, the mechanical equipment and my personal belongings! I will say that the bill for all of their work $tung to say the least, but after it is all said and done, I believe it was well worth the price to have it done correctly, pulling the proper permits, having everything inspected, and giving my family piece of mind.

We are so grateful for Peak Structural! We just moved to Colorado Springs a few months ago and after we moved into our house we noticed some strange things going on with the floors and the foundation. We called Peak Structural to come and give us a free estimate. They offered some great advice but also took our concerns into account. We are so glad that we called Peak Structural to fix our house! They are an honest and efficient company! Our foreman Aaron Johnson was perfect for the job. Some of the things we liked most about him was his honest and up-front communication about how the job was progressing, he was always on-time, and he made smart decisions that saved us money. We also had supervisors Dave Alvarado and Will Campbell checking up on the work being done and it was very reassuring that it was being done right. Thank you Peak Structural!

Very professional company. From the moment I made the phone call I knew I made the right choice. They mailed me a profile of the trained professional that would soon arrive at my house to discuss the job. Ross was dispatched to manage the project. He was courteous, very knowledgeable and answered several questions without any hesitation. They (PS) worked with me on a date that fit into my schedule and even called to confirm as the date drew nearer. When the day arrived I was again greeted by two young polite men that were well prepared to do the work. EJ and Johnny got to work very quickly without hesitation. They were professional and worked well together and even cleaned up the work area. They know their stuff at Peak Structural! Thank you and I will be recommending you to my friends.

I would definitely recommend Peak Structural for foundation related repairs. The whole process was great, from the initial inspection, through the engineered solution, to the field installation and repair. These guys were pros every step of the way. I had horizontal cracking on 2 walls. Three geolock anchors and four power braces were installed along these areas. Dustin Wheeler led the crew in the field and did a really great job. The repair was clean on the inside. What impressed me the most was that the landscaping looked perfect when they were finished. We were really worried about damage, but they took a lot of care to keep the yard looking the same as before. You could barely tell there were (3) large holes that were dug in the front. Thanks for your terrific work guys!

Our older home had two bowing foundation walls. We knew correcting the problem would be a significant investment, so we did our homework. We contacted a few companies, and they all offered similar solutions for similar prices. Ultimately, we chose Peak to do the work because we felt like they were not just trying to sell us something, but would be committed to supporting their product and service after the initial work was completed. Our foreman was Jesse. He was excellent at explaining the work and keeping us informed throughout the process. He and his crew were courteous, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about their jobs. I’m confident that the work they did has addressed our issue, and I’m even more confident that if we need anything else, they’ll be around to help us.

A waste of time. I need a window well replaced. I called Peak Structural and was told it would be seven 7 weeks before I could get an estimate. I was called two 2 days before the appointment to confirm and told the sales manager 1. Just wanted an estimate, not interesting in buying right now 2. Just wanted a simple window well nothing fancy 3. My wife would be there to show him around as I was working that day. The sales manager showed up, looked around and told my wife he could not give an estimate because he needed me there to look at all the options in his computer to figure out how much it would cost. He said he could write down a number on a piece of paper as an estimate but it would not mean anything. Wasted seven weeks waiting and my wifes time showing him around.

Contracting with Peak Structural has been very satisfying. From the assessment to the financing to the actual work was much easier than I anticipated. The assessment phase helped me understand the problems with my house and the repairs that it was going to need. I was here both days of the construction phase and barely knew the guys were here. Brian Fitzgerald and his crew were a delight to have in my home. When the job was complete Brian showed me photos and explained what they had been working on for those two days. All of the men were very polite and left my home and yard tidy when they left. I will definitely use Peak again if other issues arise and I will refer my friends and family in the event any of them need structural work. Thanks Peak!!! M. Weil
