First off, this is only the second negative review I’ve ever wrote in my life. Not because I’ve always had exceptional service, but because I don’t like taking the time to do this sort of thing. However, when it comes to Metro Construction, I couldn’t sleep at night without writing one, as the experience I’ve had working with them has been beyond my worst nightmare! In almost 38-years of life, and 14-years of home ownership, I’ve made lots of purchases. Whether it’s ordering a chicken sandwich at a fast food restaurant, having an oil change, replacing a furnace, windows, gutters, siding, purchasing a car, etc., I have never encountered such poor service and workmanship, EVER! To date, Metro Construction wins the prize for worst experience of my life when it comes to working with another company! I will say: they did a decent job of selling the job, and that’s where it all ends. Once you sign, they will never again notify you of any work being done (even if you repeatedly ask), or check in on you. Now, this might not be so bad (it is important to me, however) if the work they did was quality, but it is the furthest thing from that!! Not only did the roof they replaced fail to pass inspection the first time, they damaged my siding in the process, and have never made a legitimate attempt to right that wrong. Then, within about three months after having the new roof put on, I came home one day to find shingles all over my yard and a huge patch where they came from on my roof. There had been some winds the night before, but I was the only one in my neighborhood who had shingles missing. Of course I called, but never got a call back (this is very typical for them); however, they did eventually come out and replace the shingles. I would like to say that was the end of headaches, but nope. I still have shingles coming off, and at this point, they have no interest in repairing their mistakes. They have been paid, so I guess that’s all they care about. In this process of trying to get someone to fix these mistakes, I’ve been passed around to four different people (all with the same customer service and work ethic—ZERO!). I have never been called back or followed up with by anyone, and I am now ready to cut my losses, as it’s just too painful attempting to work with these people. In closing, please do yourself a favor and choose anyone else. Even if you have a bad experience elsewhere, I will bet that it will be better than the one you would have with Metro Construction!!

Hello, my name is Sarah and I just recently had Metro Construction replace my roof and gutters. I was referred by a friend who used a Project Manager named Mark. I was skeptical to use Metro because they had some angry people write Google Reviews, which I rely on for all my shopping. Mark showed up, told me I had hail and wind damage to my roof. I had my insurance company come out, they agreed I had damage so my fiance and I decided to bit the deductible and get new gutters and a roof. Turns out the roofing codes changed a lot in Aurora, so I got all these code upgrades -New Decking -New Edge Metal EVERYWHERE -Ice & Water -Better Shingles -More Ventilation I also had my house appraised for a refinancing, and I no longer have to pay mortgage insurance because the new upgrades increased the value of my home by so much. Ask for an inspection by Mark, he will take care of you, and tell him Sarah sent you! Sounds like some of the Project Managers are better than others. PS-My fiance didn’t want to do it because of the $1000 deductible, but I made him look stupid which was really funny!

Metro Construction are charlatans at best and crooks at worst. They came to our door ostensibly to give us a free energy efficiency evaluation, but when the "reviewer" came days later he immediately began pitching "Atticat" brand insulation. Later he "inspected" the attic by sitting on the edge of the entrance with his flashlight. He claimed to discover bare spots in our attic that did not have coverage of our loose fill insulation. Upon later inspection, by myself, these bare spots were discovered to be boards put over the joists that had insulation below them. This was hardly an innocent mistake as trained eyes should have noticed no exposed joists along with the "bare" spots. Regardless, after pitching the dire situation, the reviewer then gave us a quote for $1,600! Interestingly, he never measured our attic!

Very professional called when they were on their way. the inspection and proposal was very professional and friendly. Went out of his way to make not only us but our kids feel important. The installers were professional, clean and very proficient. The only lacking star comment we could make is it would have been nice to receive a call the day before verifying the installation time since the window was from 9 to 2.

We had our attic insulated by Metro Construction. The insulation team was very efficient and friendly. They provided us with a wonderful, professional experience. Brendan Moorehead took the time to answer all of our questions and was very informative. We noticed a difference in the temperature of the house that very next day. I was impressed with their service and highly recommend Metro construction.

We had our home and 3 rentals reroofed by METRO CONSTRUCTION-----They were professional and were respectful of our property. We did not have any problems with the installation and the roofs passed inspection without a hitch. I certainly would reccommed METRO to my best friend.

See the number of complaints against this business at the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from Metro. I wish I had.
