Where to start? I picked them out of the phonebook because of the BBB rating. They had a guy come out to our house and look at the roof and said we could file a insurance claim. He said that they would do the work and walk me through the insurance part of it. We set it up and about a week later we had a crew at our house. There was a group of about 6 Mexicans. I dont want to say that they are illegal but they did not speak english. The foreman of them spoke little english and said he was going to start. My kids went outside and later on and said that one of the guys was asking for drinks not speaking it but saying water in spanish and making motions. I thought it odd that they would ask for anything but let it go. By the end of the day (530 pm) the foreman was gone and one of the other guys asked if I speak spanish. I said no and then he did his best to tell me he was done and that the foreman was going to come back to clean up the mess. The foreman never showed up. There was trash, shingles, new and old, and worst of all there was nails all overe. I am not lying. all over the yard, driveway, gutters ( i found out after the first rain because they all ended up in driveway again). I had to buy a walking magnet to pick them up. I swear you can still find nails in my yard every now and then. It was bad. I called the company to report it and did not get much of anything from them except if I had the recipet they would give me a credit for it. wow!!! 30 bucks? If i would have got flats because of this?? anyway. They had to do my Shed too and they ran out of shingles. It would take about 4-5 days for them to come in but they had already tore off the old and my shed was bare with tar paper only. I called worried because rain was coming. They said sorry and to cover it up with anything if I had it but the Tar paper should be enough. Three days of rain is what we got with no call to see if everything was ok or a rush. Finally about a week later two guys come and said they were going to do the shed and they had vent caps. later after shed was done the guy told me the vent caps did not fit and they came back 2 days later to put those on. Finally the house was done! we had one insurance check that just sat here waiting for the bill. Then a month and a half later I got a call that we are late and we had interest charges. I said we never got a bill. they responded by saying that I was the second person that told them that day and they would send me another and waive the interest. I got that bill a couple days later and went and cashed the check and paid them. I asked how I got the second check, since I had never done this before and they let me know. I called insurance got the second check and seen the numbers did not add up to what the bill was. the bill was about 7,500 and the checks came out about 300 short. I called them and said wait a minute they guy that came to the house said I would not have to pay anything out of pocket that is why he told me to get the upgrades. They said I would need to speak with him, I guess he did not work for them any longer. So that took time. Here we are today I paid them everything but the 300 and said because of the Holidays it was tight and asked if I could pay the rest in January. She said without even thinking about No that this account was open since August (even though bill did not come till mid October) that they could not hold off any longer and everything needed to be paid. Wow...after all that. My wife said we will find the money pay it off! End it with these clowns. We paid them off and are done. You can use them if you want but this is all true. I have the paper work of everything i can show you. Also they might give you a coupon, mine was 1,000 off, they give it to you the day you sign the paper work. I guess they do not keep record of it on file because they asked for it today to apply towards my account. If i would have lost that. would have been out even more money. Good luck! There are way to many other roofing companies to try then to press your luck with these guys.

They completed the roof, my gutters, they contracted out to do our painting and windows as well. I will start by saying the people that they hired to do the paint were great, they worked fast and the paint came out beautiful. The contractors that came to do my windows were also great and that went smooth. The work that Old World did themselves is where I have issues. My gutters are falling down for the 2nd time already. When the gutters were being installed one of the workers put a nail through his hand, which was terrible, we gave him some peroxide and a towel and bandages, and we assumed he would be off to get it checked out, turns out he kept on working after being injured and the portions that he worked on are the places that are falling down. I am not upset that he got injured, but I am upset that the gutters were done poorly and now they are coming down for a second time. The roof so far is okay, however the people who did the roof left nails all over the place. I have a dog and a two year old who play in the yards and I was finding them for days, as well as pieces of the old shingles all over my back yard. Other issues I seemed to run into was with our sales person, and main point of contact, David. He was great at first, nice and informative. However, we made the mistake of letting him know upfront about our insurance claim which turned everything into what felt like a battle for him to get as much money from OUR insurance claim as he could. As we got further into things we would find work that we were being charged for that was not completed. For example, our house was painted before they fixed the damaged siding, money was included in our claim to fix the damaged siding, but it was never actually done. Had we not noticed that the siding was not done, he would have just kept the money for that portion of the claim. When I brought it to his attention, I was basically told that it was my fault because I was aware the siding needed to be fixed also, but I let the house get painted first. I am not a contractor, I have no idea what order they do things in, especially when David had already gotten general contractors overhead and profit from my insurance company, he, and Old World were working as our general contractor, they should be responsible for overseeing when, and what work gets done because we have no idea in what order they compete their jobs. When the windows were being installed, there was to be 6 windows I think it was, but they only did 5. Again, he did not mention a thing, we had to mention that they only did 5 when they were there, otherwise he would have again kept all of that money. There were several situations we ran into where we felt like he was looking to make more profit. He contacted my ins. company to talk to them about getting overhead and profit after they already denied it and then blindsided me by calling me on three way with them to get permission to send him our paperwork to do the overhead an profit. We went from the end of December until February without hearing anything and he just blamed it on the holidays. When we did hear from him it was because he wanted to collect payment. I received several text messages during conversation with him that were rude because he did not like what we were saying. People showed up unannounced and I asked for that not to happen. Today people showed up while I wasn’t home and he told me that his regional basically does what they want and that we need to just “do as they say”. I am not okay with that. There is so much more that I cant fit here so I will just say I would not recommend using them unless you are not going to be doing an insurance claim, if you do, stay on top of what work is getting done and where your money is going.

I wanted to write a review what our experience with Old World Roofing and Aaron was a good one. Unlike a lot o reviews were all they do is give glowing comments, we actually had a hiccup with our experience. But, here is were it matters, it was resolved in an objective and fair manner. Often we hear about the bad things with a company or they are exaggerated. In this case we had some issues, but trails are where relationships and confidence is built. We will absolutely be using Aaron and Old World Roofing for any future needs.....because I know I can count on him fixing any issue no matter how small. They have earned our trust and they did a great job on our roof. Dan T.

Just had my roof replaced by Jose and his crew. Had three quotes including one from Old World Roofing who came in the lowest by far. I was also on a short timeline before closing on the house and Jose came through big time for me. He was inspecting my roof at 5:30AM the next morning (weekend/Saturday) and had a qoute to me by 7AM. He had material ordered and loaded Monday and my roof done on Tuesday. Communication was great throughout the entire process. Good customer service and honesty are the most important things for me and I am extremely happy with both from these guys.

Old World Roofing in Colorado Springs did an excellent job in replacing the roofs of the Pinon Glen neighborhood in 2014 & 2015 after 2 separate devasting hail storms. They assisted the HOA in working with the insurance company and upgrading our asphalt shingles to a class 4 to better withstand any future hailstorms. They were very easy to work with and very responsive to any issues that came up during the installation of the roofs. A very professional and reputable firm in business in the front range since 1977.

They arrived early and finished in one day. They cleaned up before leaving and literally, left nothing behind. I think my yard was cleaner when they left than it was before arriving! They have put two roofs on my house and will always be my roofers. Very nice office staff and very helpful.

Highly recommend this company for all roofing and gutter work. The staff (Rob) was professional and knowledgeable. They showed up when they said they would be there - which is unusual these days. The work was performed with detail and professionalism. Great company to work with!!!

My wife and I contacted old world roofing last fall to get a skylight replaced. A nice individual came out took some measurements, provided us with a quote, but that was it. We contacted Old World Roofing a couple of times to schedule something, and received only empty promises.

I had to sit in the office with no one here for almost 30mins with no help. I would suggest going somewhere with better customer service..
