We first got interested in solar after our energy bills continued to soar out of control. Our bills averaged approx. $300 to $350 dollars monthly without using the air conditioning. During the summer months, when we were forced to turn on the air, our bills would average over $700. We could not sustain paying the $700 energy bills so we would just not use the air and suffer through it. We resisted solar because frankly, we just did not know a lot about it. A very good friend of our got solar and we were finally able to speak to someone we knew and trusted. He loved it and told us how it worked. We were sold. We call Home Performance Matters and they came out and told us exactly what they offered and how it would impact our energy use and bill. We went with it. After the install and the system was turned on, we received our first monthly bill. Our bill that use to average $300 was now $.97! We could not be more happy with our system. We also realized that we pay less for our monthly finance payment for the system than we were paying in our monthly energy bill. And we are paying for something we are eventually going to own.

Home Performance Matters gets an A+! They completed an energy upgrade for me which included insulation, can light replacement (updated and safer), duct sealing, water heater improvements, and window replacement. Andrew Durban spent a lot of time with me answering my many questions and presenting many different options to find one that best fit my needs. The excellent communication in the company is a huge plus and something I really appreciated. Prior to work starting my project manager Matt met with me and walked me through every step of the process. He promised me an update at the conclusion of every day and asked how I preferred to receive the update; email, phone call or both. He delivered on his commitment. There was also always someone on site who was in charge and was willing to answer any questions. They also alerted me to things I might want to keep an eye on. My window replacement went very smoothly as well. Jason Wavra and his crew were prompt and efficient. Price was more than fair for the peace of mind and quality work received from this company.

I just got my house insulated with HPM in May. My house was built in 1952 and would get uncomfortably hot, especially in the summer time. I would blast the AC all day, which seemed to never get cool enough, and when I finally would shut it off, it would get hot all over again in a matter of moments. Frustrated and not wanting to deal with another sweaty night summer, I looked into getting my walls and attic insulated. I worked with Jonathan and he was nice and informative. We proceeded with the project and I am happy with the results. Initially, I think my expectations were too high. But now at the end of August, I can totally feel the difference compared to last summer. My AC blows out super cold air (they did my ducting too) and the house gets cold and stays cold for a long time. I even notice when I get home from work and have not ran the AC all day, the house still feels fresh when I walk in. I have yet to feel the changes in the winter, but I am sure I will not be disappointed. I am glad I went through with this project. Thanks HPM!

Home Performance Matters (HPM) is a new and innovative way to help both the home owner and the environment. We learned about HPM from our neighbors who were most enthusiastic. We knew HPM would provide an energy assessment. But, did we need it? Yes, we did! HPM gave a thorough whole house inspection of our home. After a free introductory inspection they provided documented information as to needs that would make our home more comfortable and environmentally friendly. This included many energy upgrades. We feel we will see reduced expenditures in our heating and air conditioning bills due to the upgrades to our ducting ( supply and return) and attic insulation. Most importantly all HPM employees were efficient,concerned and trustworthy. Also HPM follows through to make sure the customer is thoroughly satisfied. We recommend pursuing your whole house energy issues by contacting HPM.

HPM was able to improve the comfort level by retrofitting my home to be energy efficient. Because my home was built in 1957, it did not have any modern features to be energy efficient. HPM was able to have my home participate in the California Energy Upgrade program by SoCal Gas and Edison. There are many rebates available through them and were able to save me a lot of money by doing this. They were very friendly, fast, and patient. They were able to work around my schedule and the weather. Even when they were very busy throughout the day, they did not hesitate to answer my many questions and adjust there work according to my preferences. I recommend them highly to anybody that would be interested. Out of everything they did, our favorite change was the HVAC system and insulation that was able to improve greatly. The dynamics of our home has changed dramatically. Great job guys!

Home Performance Matters (HPM) is an incredible company. I found them when I was looking for an authorized vendor who was certified through Southern California Edison/SoCal Gas to do energy upgrades and that were eligible for energy efficient rebates. Besides being a certified vendor, for Energy Upgrade California, they are also a local company from Upland, CA, providing excellent service for the residents of the Inland Empire. We got a complete package,24 windows, 2 air conditioning units, 2 heating units, new ducting, smart thermostats, and insulation. The job was done so professionally that the attic now looks like a brand-new home. Our utility bills have decreased and over time the work that we had done will pay for itself in the savings and overall comfort. I highly recommend HPM for all HVAC, window, and insulation work.

We have always had issues with our upstairs bedrooms not cooling well. We have replaced our a/c and furnace, upgraded the registers and replaced all our windows in the house. The room temperatures improved slightly, but were still warmer than the rest of the house. Home Performance Matters came in and put all new insulation in all parts of our attics. This has made a huge difference in the temperature upstairs. Jim was very professional and attentive to all our needs. The installers were polite, knowledgable and cleaned up when done. I would highly recommend Home Performance Matters!

Home Performance Matters installed a new air conditioning and heating system in my 2 story house. Before they did so we could not use the living room downstairs because as soon as it got warm, it created a draft you could feel and all the air went whooshing up the stairwell. Downstairs was cold, upstairs was tropical. They put in new ducts, and the new system saves to much electricity that it made up for me getting an electric car. They were professional, kept everything clean, and I enjoyed having them in my home. Call they now. You will not regret it.

We went with HPM for our A/C, furnace, ducting and attic insulation needs! They worked around my schedule, showed up on time, cleaned at the end of every workday and were extremely friendly! Everyone from sales, customer service and the on site employees were easy to work with and I could trust them! They also do all the work for the rebate and guarantee it.
