This is my second time using TR for MAJOR renovations. TR does a lot of work in the Poway /Scripps Ranch Area. When I heard that TR had done a couple re roofs on my street, I decided to call. The first time we used TR was a couple of years ago when we had the kitchen remodeled, wall knocked down, the windows replaced, the ceiling scraped and painted. Tony had excellent customer service skills. He was friendly but not too pushy. Tony provided me with a detailed quote in one hour after talking to me. All the work was outlined in writing via email. ( I liked that )! TR’s workers work very hard and very fast. TR’s office and or Tony himself called me back ASAP if I had any concerns. His people are professional. The workers came to work early 7:30am and left before 5. I was very happy with TR’s price and service. My Kitchen is Beautiful and it looks like I paid a lot more than I did! I had quotes from Home depot / Lowes that were MUCH much MORE. The second time we used TR was just last week when our roof was leaking. Again Tony came out right away and was very clear on the price and time frame. I knew they be fast and professional as before, but I was impressed yet again. Linda (Office Staff) called me daily with updates. Again I could not believe that he completed my roof in 2 and ½ days! He had many men working very hard and very fast. Clean up was prompted as well. TR painters came to do my drywall repair were just as professional . I have a very good trusted friend who is a contactor up in Northern CA and he agreed that TR’s prices were in alignment with the current market. I plan to use TR for additional painting and flooring, in the future.

I had a great experience working with Tony and his team from TR Construction. I had them build a large patio cover that required architectural drawings and a city permit. After talking with several contractors who came to bid on the job then never sent a quote or never even showed for our initial appointment, I met with Tony. For our first meeting he was on time and professional. We discussed the project and he showed examples on his iPad of his other work. He helped me visualize some of the concepts I had in mind with the pictures of other work he had previously completed. I was on the fence about going through the formal permit process with the city, but agreed to move forward. Tony and his team took care of all the details and now I have the architectural drawings and permits for the property if I eventually decide to sell. In the end, I’m glad I was persuaded to go through the formal process and feel that it was completely worth it. I thought they TR Construction was great! They did what they said they would do and were considerate and professional. The foreman, Clemente, was polite with a no-nonsense approach with the crew. I thought he set the tone for his guys and got things done! I was never pressed for payment. The crew showed up on time and did the work that they promised on a reasonable timeline. I’m completely happy with the decision to work with Tony. 5 stars!

I’ve been around since 1930, and have worked with people and for companies since the age of 12, starting with the largest paper route in my delivery district and including just about any type of work you can think of. I’ve seen and experienced it all. From the first few moments I spoke by phone with Linda, the office manager at T. R. Construction, I recognized something special. Then when Tony, the owner, came and did an estimate for a new roof on our home, that special feeling multiplied. The date was set and on that Monday the removal of the old roof began punctually. The foreman for that specific job was Angel, and he couldn’t have explained it better. His crew was organized, coordinated, careful, neat and speedy. They finished their part in one day. Following that, the roofers came and in showcase fashion demonstrated in three days the proper way to install a new roof. I’ve never seen such teamwork. The entire procedure was phenomenal, and at the end of Thursday the finished product, along with the new rain gutters and spouts, was something any homeowner would view with admiration and gratification. Next, an exterior paint job by T.R. Construction. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are simply the BEST!

I needed to have some roof repairs done on my home. I have an older style Los Arcos type of ceramic tile roof. I needed to have an old solar water heater removed from the roof and the tiles replaced underneath it because they were missing. I called 3 roofing contractors for estimates. The first contractor said I needed to have my whole roof replaced, which he would gladly do for $40,000! I’m not a professional roofer, but I do know that the whole roof did not need to be replaced. The second contractor estimated the labor to be $7,000 – but I had to by all the material! Did I mention that I am not a professional roofer? Why should I buy the material? What if I bought the wrong material? These guys came out and had a look – estimate was about $4,000. I said go for it. They showed up early the next week, demo of the water heater and repair area the first day. Next 2 days replaced all missing tiles and did some other minor roof repair. They were in and out with everything looking brand new in 3 and a half days. Super professional too. No excuses, no changes, just dug in and got it done in a timely fashion and on budget. TR Construction to the rescue. I had begun a complete home remodeling project with a contractor that I will leave unnamed. We were in planning stages of my project and having trouble getting the city to approve the plans. I became worried and decided maybe this wasn’t the general contractor for my project. I called a few remodeling companies and that’s when I met Tony of TR Construction. With the help of Tony and his design man we easily set my project in motion. I should mention project was not a simple one. It included a room addition at the entire backside of my house, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling and of course roofing. The dedication of Tony’s foreman, remodeling crews, roofers and painters allowed us to finish my job as scheduled and more importantly on budget. I would highly recommend TR Construction as a general contractor if you’re considering any sort of remodeling or roofing project.

This our third time using TR Construction. The first time was to fix a leak in our roof. We had a room addition added to our home over 20 years and had since had it re-roofed. The roofing company we used went out of business. My dad saw the sign for TR one day on the way to Home Depot and gave them a call. Tony came out and gave us a fair price. His workers were out here two days later and had our roof leak repaired in a day and a half. The second time we used them was to lay an additional layer of concrete onto out patio slab it make it easier to walk from house to our patio room. Go great service again. Now we are remodeling the front of our house and they are going a fantastic job. I would recommend Tony and his crew to anyone seeking to have home repairs or remodeling work done. Linda the office manager is great and very helpful.

TR Construction did an excellent job removing and installing a new roof on my home and replacing rotted and termite damaged fascia board and rafter tails. They also installed “Cool roof” attic insulation and a color matching new rain gutter system. The work was performed in the highest professional manner and completed within the estimated price, on schedule (excluding working around the first San Diego rain of our winter season), and the crew lead by Mike and Jaime’s roofing guys were very knowledgeable and accommodating to ensured I was completed satisfied at the end. I highly recommend them for your next roofing/house remodeling project; I am looking forward to working with them very soon for additional remodeling work!

We had TR Construction repair several cracked roof tiles and install a Solartube skylight in our closet. We were delighted with the job that their crew did. They came right on time, did the complete job, including inspecting our entire roof, in just a few hours, and because they did such a careful job in masking off the area for the Solartube cover, there was left absolutely no dust on anything in our closet. They were also able to use the tiles they removed from the Solartube installation to repair the cracked tiles. The cost for the job was just as per their estimate. Recommended without hesitation.

After having our roof replaced by TR Construction...We were so happy with the workmanship that We then decided to have some remodeling done... Wow!!! applied painting came in and removed the popcorn ceiling and textured the ceiling beautifully...We also had our inside painted and the outside trim painted...We are very happy with the results... In the middle of a terrible rain storm my roof started leaking. TR contstruction responded within 30 minutes of my call and did a fantistic job repairing the leak. They replaced broken shingles and other damaged materials. They were very professional and quick. I would use them again for other work.
