So completely frustrating- We sold our home recently and Benji was the loan officer for the buyers that we were working with. To start things off, these buyers were supposedly "pre qualified" and we got the go ahead from Benjis office to start escrow that was scheduled for 30 days. We enter escrow- The next week we find out that this "pre qualified" buyer had yet to file 2015 taxes and must do so before the close of escrow....estimated wait time 6-8 weeks to hear back from the IRS...nightmare....especially because our house was vacant. We work out the kinks and all is well, we hoped. 45 days into escrow we are about the close the loan and what happens?..... Final credit checks reveal that the buyers financed not one but TWO brand new vehicles!! After 45 days, we were left hanging. No one at Benjis office would answer the phone for my agent to find out what was going on. The ironic part is that we originally bought the house through Benjis office and everything was great. That was almost 4 yrs ago. Unfortunately our most recent experience could not have be more different than our first We lost $1000s and nearly 6 weeks of market time for our home. We were lucky, the next buyer made a cash offer and we closed in 2 weeks- May this story not be yours but be ye for warned-

Benjie and his team worked very hard on our loan. They are very friendly, returned our calls, emails and text messages right away. Loads of documents are required but we were able to provide them right away and they were able to process our papers as fast as we provided them. They were very friendly and professional. Our loan was a difficult with the amount and kind of property we were buying, but we were still able to close earlier than we anticipated.We were treated as if they knew on a personal basis. I believe that if the credit score, the assets to liabilities ratio of the of the borrower, how fast the borrower can provide the required documents and how easy or difficult it is to confirm the information the borrower provided - all of these affect the loan process and approval. I trust Prime Source Mortgage - I will recommend Benjie and his team to my family and friends! When its time to refinance, its time to go to to Only 1Benjie again!
