If you value your blood pressure, stay away from this company... They consistently failed to meet expectations, the loan processor did not respond to requests for follow up to make sure they had received documents, the broker did not return phone calls for days, they lost faxes, I asked to be called with issues because I was traveling and they e-mailed me, the broker and processor never apologized for the mishandling of my loan, and I was the one always following up and asking what documentation they needed. The rate was cheap and the service was cheaper... Not worth it. Stay away.

I have been a long time client of Mike Steren for two property purchases and multiple refis, and I would not consider going anywhere else. Mike is knowledgeable and accountable. Having their own in-house underwriting team means that he has a direct line of communication to know exactly what is going on with the loan at any given time. The entire loan process can be very stressful and complicated, but after many successful transactions with Mike, I trust him 100% to give us the best rates and have the loan close on time!

This is my first loan process with Mortgage Capital Associates. I think their offer is very competitive. The service is also very good. They were able to support my request and close the loan within 30 days. I took off one star since the GFE did not match well with final closing and cause some last minute confusion. But overall, I am satisfied with the service and I would recommend them for friends and family.

Process was relatively easy, although I would have liked more communication, if I had questions I was able to reach my loan contact quickly. I wanted the transaction to be 90% online and verbal interaction kept to a minimum and they were definitely able to deliver that.
