We were very fortunate to have Stephanie Converse handle our loan application. We were living overseas due to my service in the military. We decided to purchase a home here in Yuma since it was going to be our next duty station. She did an absolutely phenomenal job at communicating with us during the entire process. Even with the time zone differences between Arizona and Japan she made every effort to contact us as the mortgage progressed. She was very informative regarding the entire mortgage process and provided useful information each step of the way. Stephanie always let us know the answers to the questions we had regarding amounts financed, interest rates, and the loan status. She never missed a beat. She went above and beyond ensuring all our needs were met even during the last few weeks of her pregnancy. We hope that when we decide to make another purchase that we will be blessed with a loan officer like Stephenie! You rock!

Our experience with Tera Lynn Greene & Aimee Calvet was incredible. We previously started with another Mortgage Company, Nova Home Loans, recommended by our bank. They left us feeling very uncomfortable and frustrated. We then switched to Academy Mortgage who was recommended by Dan Arnold, a friend of ours who is a Realtor. From the moment I spoke with Tera on the phone, the experience was absolutely terrific. She gave us more information in the first phone call than the other company did in the 8 week process. Tera and her team were very informative, they gave us options for the loan that would best suit our needs, from beginning to end of the loan process. My experience with Academy Mortgage was excellent! I was a first time home buyer who being young and not knowing a whole lot was a bit scared of how the whole process would work. However I worked with Chelsie Mesa in Yuma, Arizona and I have to say that she made my experience smooth and efficient. I did not have to do a lot of running around she took care of many things for me which was great since I work long hours. I have to say that I even got my house close to 3 weeks early it was a great surprise! :) Overall Chelsie Mesa stayed in touch with me the whole time was knowledgeable and explained things to me thoroughly. I would definitely recommend Academy Mortgage to anyone!

Worst experience, from getting information to just a simple return phone call. Pulled my credit and am just wanting to get approved or denied just to get out of this business transaction. Be weary of letting them pull your credit until you know they are the mortgage company for you. Treated as if they are doing me a favor and not as a customer trying to buy a home.
