Phenomenal customer service. I saw my living room ceiling sagging and water dripping from it and called American Family claim line around 8:00 in the morning. The claim representative connected me to a contractor, Paul Davis restoration, and as I was talking to the contractor, the living room ceiling collapsed under the weight of the water. By 9:30 I had an American Family Adjuster and a Paul Davis representative in my living room discussing what needed to be done. By 10:30, cleanup was underway, the adjuster had given me an estimate of damage and explained my coverage. Paul Davis staff boxed many of my belongings out of harms way, moved furniture, covered furniture and carpeting, swept, vacuumed, etc. I cannot begin to explain the comfort level that all of this activity created.

Worst rates. Rude staff. Sneak up your rates every 6 months (renewal period) due to excuses like prices of materials to rebuild houses and inflation. David himself looks at your driving record well past 5 years. No other insurance company or office brings up violations 5 years out! Every year they insist your rates will go down the next year. Tired of hearing the same lie. Other friends and family have shared this same kind of experience with American Family.
