We had insurance through GMI and they sold our policy without our knowledge, with a remaining balance. So I received a letter to pay the remaining balance and was confused, because we had been making our monthly payments to GMI. So I went into GMI and showed them the letter I had received from my previous policy holder and GMI told me I was covered and to disregard the statement. They also told me they would look into it and if I did need to pay, they would let me know. So a month later I was sent to collection for less than $50. Beware when going through this company, worst customer service I have ever had!!!!

Great rates. With that being said, this is the worst place. The women who work here are incompetent, rude, and lack basic customer service skills to say the least. My husband and I have called to check the date we are supposed to renew our insurance and the women told us a date that was two weeks after the insurance was set to expire! We would have been driving around without insurance for two weeks with the possibility of huge fines and impoundment, all because the people who work here cannot relay simple information. We only have to deal with them twice a year when we renew the insurance and even that is too much.

They are usually very helpful and great me when i first walk in the door. This was a great insurance company tobwork with when all the others were unwilling to because of my husbands driving record. Now that we have good driving records though we will be switching because very little is covered for the price we could afford at the time. Great company if you never need to use the insurance.

3 years ago when i went to Gmi they put me with a company that meet my needs at an affordable price ... at my renewal the told me that i could get way more coverage for almost the same price!!!!! I love gmi and all the girls there are great!!!! Thats the good thing about GMi that they carry over 20 companies!!!!

Just change my insurance to GMI, I was all the insurance company were as pleasant of this one. My Agent Edith was just the Best. She explained all the different coverages and help me select the best one for my needs and meet my Budget. I wish all agents take the time to explain, so we can make the decisions.

I even got a discount for having good grades ! I ended up leaving with renters insurance as well ! Who knew it could be so cheap!
