If I can put a 0 here. Thats what I wish I could put. Insurance just screwed me over. I have shipped my two motorcycles from Hawaii to Georgia knowing that all my insurance and everything was good. I have set up an automatic payment on every bill. So with that confidence,I shipped them. I wasnt aware that my policy got cancelled on March 8th a day before I shipped my bike out. Not knowing it was cancelled, my bikes went cross country without coverage. My bikes arrived damaged unfornately by another "0" star shipper. Called insurance up to file a claim on my bikes, went through the whole claim process not once I was told that my policy was cancelled. Also, I had them since October last year, and added another bike on mid-January.. according to the insurance company my auto payment stopped january 1st, not once did they tell me bout that. They said it came through the mail on last week february but i was already on the move, left the island march 9th. Now, Im stuck with damaged bikes. Not great communications, ignoring any defects before selling, the customer representatives(if they are being questioned) starts giving attitude even if you try to talk in a calm voice, then just makes me more angry. Sorry, wish everyone follows this review. Shame on me for not checking my mail before I left.

I tried so hard to cancel my policy. Not like the other insurance companies (e.g. Geico) which I can cancel it via phone or my online account right away. This Pacific Specialty insurance made it so hard to cancel it. I called Pacific Specialty two times last week and they asked me to send email/fax with all the information and signature..... After I send the email, I will have to call again this week to confirm that they received my email and will process the cancellation. The customer representative said that it will take 5-7 business days to process the cancellation, and another 5-7 business days to process the refund, not mentioning that it took me so much time to talk to them to cancel this poor thing. I told them that all the other insurance companies made it so easy to cancel the policy, why do you guys made it so difficult? She said" well, this is our policy, every companies have different policies." I said, "continue your policy, just a kind reminder, that it will push all your customers away!"I guess nobody cares.

As a broker for PSIC, I do have to say your service is only going to be as good as your Agent. You should be contacting your insurance agent to make changes to the policy, and not have to transact it yourself. Sadly, most of these reviews are just people who were not properly informed about the product, their coverages, or the terms of the contract. Insurance is a written contract in which both parties need to agree upon, having the right agent makes all the difference. I Love PSIC, they work very well with me, they always answer my questions in a timely fashion, and they handle claims very fairly within the written contract. Insurance is NOT just a price tag.

This has to be one of the most unprofessional and unethical companies I have ever dealt with on a personal and professional level. Everyone I dealt with from management to the adjuster were either incompetent or dishonest. The only positive I can glean from this horrific experience was the friendly and responsive customer service department. The rest are awful. The adjuster was entirely unresponsive to myself and my concerned parties. My claim has now been denied while unsubstantiated. They have given me zero courtesy. Plus, I caught the adjuster in multiple lies. STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC SPECIALTY!

This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. First of all, the accident was not my fault, yet they had me pay the deductible up front before they could even decide which party was at fault. I got into this accident almost a month ago and the entire time, the agent handling my claim drug her feet, lied twice about sending the check to the shop, and to top it off, made no attempt to advocate on my behalf to any sort of recovery for property damage from the other party. Because of this, my bike can not be released due to nonpayment from the insurance company.

I live in Texas and found them through a broker after receiving ridiculous quotes on my 1940s house. I had never heard of them, so honestly, I was a little worried. However, after a recent hail storm and a large claim...they were great! Super friendly. I had tons of questions and they were patient with me. I found the process very easy - even my bank was shocked how much information they were providing me with to expedite my claim. Now that ive had repairs done, I have tons of insurance companies contacting me to switch and I am definitely not interested.

Had a terrible accident December 2015, bike got totaled. It took about a month to get paid for the bike. Everything went well, they are professional, never had any problems. Only reason they get 4 stars is because they failed to report to the dmv that the bike was totaled. So I had to spend a few hours running around dealing with that. Dmv thinks I still own the bike and I refuse to pay insurance, so there is a lack of communication between dmv and insurance company. Other than that policy was affordable and people are polite.

Horrible customer service. This company will just give you the run around. You may pay less... but you will regret it down the road. Look elsewhere for your insurance needs. I had a rental property they insured and let it drop without notice for two months. Thank goodness nothing happened but this is the type of service you can expect. When I called them about what happened, they did not care nor really wanted my business. I have since moved to Farmers and have not looked back.

I had my motorcycle stolen and have been dealing with this horrible company going on 4 months now trying to get a settlement. This company will depreciate the value of your bike any way they can. The settlement they intend on sending is 2,200.00 less then the blue book value of the bike. If anything happens in like the first 100 days they charge you a double deductible, so watch out for that as well. I would give this company 0 stars if possible.

After a home burglary where we lost a good amount of valuables, I was really dreading the insurance claim process. We had homeowners insurance with PSIC and I have to say, to my surprise, the entire process was very pleasant. I worked with Carolina Gamboa who was always patient and responsive as to where in the process we are at and what the next steps are. The whole process has also been much smoother and faster than anticipated.

It took almost 2 months to cancel my policy because of conflicting information and a lack of communication from them: unanswered emails, dropped phone calls, the works. Of course after finally getting it, I received no notification it had been cancelled, and trying to get my reimbursement was like pulling teeth and I had to hound them down for it since I would never get any replies. These guys are a joke!

There is a reason this company has so may horrible reviews. This is the worst unprofessional Insurance company I have ever dealt with. They thought it was a joke I was putting a claim in for my roof that had blown off from the wind storm with significant amounts of hail damage. I will never refer this company out and post a review everywhere possible to include writing a letter to the Insurance committee.

I had snow damage to my home and they sent an adjuster out, determined a repair amount and sent me a check. Luckily, the only contractor in the area that could fix it had come up with about the same quote so it was fixed without too much extra out of pocket beyond the deductible. Pacific Specialty did what they were supposed to do and in a timely manner.

Motorcycle insurance customer for 8 years. Rates were good, and I fortunately never needed to test the claims system. But, the web site and phone menu are incredibly user-hostile. It is a hefty process to simply make payments/changes to a policy, and print out Proof of Insurance cards. This company needs to learn from the reviews and make some changes.

Lately I had an accident by myself and Pacific Specialty was outstanding and very professional to provide payments and all the necessary help. I highly recommend this company.

PSIC added insult to injury when our house burned down - dealing with PSIC for the 13 months that it took for them to process our claim was worse than waking up to my house burning down and barely getting out with only the clothes on our backs. They are slow, rude, and dishonest.
