I was a member of this credit union for a little over a decade. There were some things that I liked about them however other things that I found quite frustrating. First the Good: The staff are very friendly and helpful. I do not agree with earlier posts that the staff seemed young and that they did not know what they are doing. I found it to be the opposite The website was user friendly, and easy to read. The loan officers were approachable and helpful, and I did not have the issues that earlier people had, when I closed my account with them I did not have any issues with them. Now the Bad: I find the credit union to be a bit behind the times. Their ATMs are for withdrawals only, so the entire time I was a member of their credit union I was not able to make a deposit at their ATMs. This was a disappointment for me and I thought at some point it may have been something they would want to add in the future but that feature never came (unfortunately) Additionally they do not have mobile check deposit (like other credit unions in the area), so if I do have a check I want to deposit I have to either take it to the credit union when they are open or put it in the night depository. They still do not support Apple Pay or Android Pay. Finally, when I got my last Auto Loan, they refused to finance my car despite having a regular payment history with the credit union. So those frustrations were my reasons for leaving.

I currently have three credit unions I am apart of, Alpine Credit Union being one of them. Since joining Alpine CU I have moved all of my funds, loans, and family to alpine. Anytime anyone asks who to use for banking in utah I refer Alpine CU with no hesitation. The staff members and friendly and personal and do everything they can to make sure you have a positive experience while handling your banking needs. Definitely has my vote for best Credit union ever!

Had a car loan with them which we paid off 8 months ago. At that time I cancelled my acoount, or so I thought. It was on auto-pay and every month since then they have charged me my car payment. I get the money back so they are ripping me off, but I have gone in 4 times to cancel the account with no luck yet!

The best credit union out there hands down! This is my third car loan with them and every time they make the process as painless as possible. Lisa was very helpful and she fully explained the car loan process and what all the documents meant without taking up much time. I would recommend them to anyone!

Since I rely on mobile banking, Alpine credit union is not for me. Their mobile site is all but a joke and exporting to quicken they change the name of every merchant to card swipe. Not very easy when trying to do finances.

My husband and I have recently opened an account with Alpine Credit Union in Orem, their customer service is not the best but the handling of the accounts and online payments are the best!!
