Wow! In what world would the health care industry deny a screening that could lead to cancer? All I get is, "Under the Affordable Care Act, this procedure is not covered". Bunch of crooks that have turned out to be like any other insurance company out there. Just trying to capitalize on everyones dime and get out of paying for anything they can. Instead of being the decent company they should be in their dealings and help the people that are protected under them.

Maybe it just varies by employer, but Regence BCBS of Utah had competitive rates, great networks and outstanding customer service. I loved having them. They were always friendly when I called, they answered quick with a person. For the upcoming year my company is switching to SelectHealth. Bad networks, high deductibles, high premiums. I am not excited. Maybe other employers are getting better deals choosing better plans.

I made Five phone calls today to try to get help with claims address for a patient. one of these was a conference call with the vendor just to get the Payer ID. I was hung up on, their lack of courtesy is one of the biggest issues!! And I still do not have the information I need. Had to give a star, but they do not deserve even one star.

Regence is by far the BEST insurance company to work with for outpatient mental health coverage. I have been working in private practice for 10 years and I am consistently very happy with how BCBS reimburses and the minimal hassles. I only WISH there were more insurance companies out there this easy to work with.

Really enjoy the website. I feel as if I finally understand my benefits and know where I can go to receive care. They have a nifty widget online that helps you find doctors (i.e. providers) in your area. When I have called the customer service people, they have been cheerful and helpful.

Very difficult to get any claims processed. Customer service seems to be very low on their list. Wait times are atrocious!! When you do finally speak with a representative, they are hesitant to give out any information for Utah providers.
