Let’s face it, life when you are deciding to get a divorce from your spouse is very complicated, filled with many questions, intense mixed emotions, and immense feelings of uncertainty and instability. With the help of Lani and her amazing staff at Alternative Divorce Solutions (ADS), these questions were answered and then life didn’t seem so scary and uncertain anymore. Historically, divorce can have a way of bringing the worst out of the people that once loved each other very much, and I didn’t want this to happen with my spouse (now ex-spouse) and me. For me, it was very important that the divorce process was amicable and as positive as this process could be. That’s why I chose ADS. When I first called the office asking for help, the reaction of the staff was sensitive and empathetic toward the emotions I was feeling, unlike some of the other law offices I spoke to that were hard and excited for a fight. ADS handled the divorce between my ex-husband and I with kindness, professionalism, and respect toward both parties. ADS proved that the divorce process doesn’t have to be a horrible and traumatic drawn out experience. Instead, divorce can be fair and conclude with respect and dignity intact. I can’t thank ADS enough for all the help and support during this tough life transition. I also can’t recommend ADS enough.

"I highly recommend Lani and her team at ADS. When I knew the decision for divorce was made I began my search for a mediator. My ex and I seemed fairly "friendly" and we both decided to divorce using a mediator. I came across the ADS website and knew THIS was for us. From the beginning, all my questions were answered....and THIS is vital when there is so much uncertainty floating around divorce. Every time I e-mailed or called there was a very quick and informative response. As with many attorneys, I never felt like my questions were ticking a never ending cash register. There is nothing easy about going through a Divorce especially with everything you have to consider and the documents you have to prepare for the courts. I was referred to Lani and ADS but a very good friend and it was the best move I made in this process. My first meeting with Lani was very informative and she made it clear what to expect in the process and what she would need from me and my ex-wife to complete the process. After that the process moved very smoothly. I worked with Jeanann on getting the documents together and she also did an excellent job communicating with my ex-wife to make sure everything got completed fully and on time. Jeanann was excellent at making sure that we understood what needed to be completed and how to make sure it would get approved by the courts. After everything was completed and approved by myself and my ex-wife I met with Malori to sign the documents. Malori was very clear in where the documents should be signed and how long I should expect the process to take with the courts. I want to thank Lani, Jeanann and Malori for all there help through this process. They made a very difficult time a little bit easier.

Wow, it was a horrible year, made even worse when I found divorce papers taped to my front door. I had only days to respond. Alternative Divorce Solutions literally saved the day! Using Lani and Jeanann was the best decision i could have made. They walked me through the process step by step. Jeanann was able to get movement toward a resolution after the process had stalled. This could have become a volatile, lengthy and costly process, that may have taken at least a year to resolve. With Jeanann, we were able to conclude the process in a six month time frame.They were compassionate, professional, and always looked for a fair and mutual agreeable divorce. With their help I am able to finally move on in my life. Thank you!!!!

Lani and her team at Alternative Divorce Solutions did an excellent job with mediation during my divorce proceeding. My Ex and I wanted to find the most child friendly approach. Lani is very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions while having the best interest of our children in mind.
