Daragh Carter is honest, compassionate and intelligent. I had no experience with litigation at all and was involved in an accident that totaled my SUV and damaged my right knee. The driver of the other vehicle made an illegal U turn and hit me. The insurance company paid for the SUV but would not address the knee injury. When the hospital called and informed me that the insurance company had not even payed the cost of the ER visit and wanted to know when they could expect the large payment I owed, I was shocked. I only had a week to find a personal injury lawyer and the local ones would not accept the case because of the short amount of time involved. Mr Carter and his wife were visiting our B&B and even though he was from Houston and I in the Hill Country, he agreed to take my case. He told me not to worry, that he would take care of everything and he did. Eight months later I received a very nice settlement from the insurance company. I learned the hard way that these huge companies cannot be trusted to do the right thing. If you need help like I did, I highly recommend Daragh Carter.

I was in an automobile accident last summer and a friend referred me to Daragh. I was presently surprised by his receptive demeanor and overall friendliness. He was not the typical arrogant attorney, like ones I have dealt with in the past. I then explained my case and he took the time (personally, he did not pawn me off on a secretary) to get all of my details and explain my options to me. As my case proceeded he personally informed me or had one of his highly competent staff inform me of what was going on in every stage of my case. He also was able to secure additional funds for me from the insurance company that I didn’t even know I was entitled to (surely the insurance company would not have told me if I would have tried to handle this myself). The result was a generous recovery with little to no effort on my part. My suggestion, if you are looking for great representation and fair treatment, this is the guy!
