I recently went to a seminar and met Sgt Mcgrath and was told that he was here to help. I have had numerous issues with both the Dallas and Garland Police Departments not doing their jobs. I had 2 people in one month illegally enter my apartment in Dallas and the police did NOTHING. Thiis person was STILL AT MY PROPERTY when Dallas Police arrived, the was actually damaging property when they got here. This week a person making verbal threats to me at my job, threatening to kill me and leaving threatening voice mails at my job. I pressed charges and The Garland police did NOTHING. They found this man and did not arrest him. They came back to my office and told me this was a CIVIL matter!!!! Sgt McGrath told me if I had any issues to call him, and I did. He did not return my call. The Texas Law shield says for a fee monthly and you have to use a weapon that all you have to do is call them and a lawyer will answer the phone. I was going to get shooting lesson and sign up for this but now I am worried that I would sit in jail and get no return call. If this kind of thing happens and people can get away it. So if I use a gun what will happen to me?!

I am not sure why the people who posted here are dissatisfied. US Law Shield has been responsive, clear about what the policy covers and generally professional. The concept and application are clear to me. In the unfortunate event of an insured, responsibly armed citizen defending life of himself or another, they are there to defend you and your rights. Further, I have used their resources regarding my education of the law extensively. These guys are top notch in my assessment. In the interest of full disclosure, I have no personal connection nor do I know any employees. I was introduced to them by a friend who had his own policy with them. I truly hope I never need their services but as a member for 2 years, my experience with this company has been excellent.

I have the all inclusive protection. That means if I am in Florida or any other state that honors a Texas CHL I am covered. This is no brainer insurance. I in no way work for TLS. The people who are dishing TLS probably should stick to not carrying. Their comments make no sense. If you need TLS once....its worth it...

Policy language is far too vaugue and ultimately they decide if your case “qualifies” for coverage. Do your homework before signing up for a recurring membership charge.
