I recently added a media room upstairs at my house. This extra room had its own new A/C unit that was installed last winter. Everything seemed ok until the Texas heat kicked in during the summer. It was very hard to watch a movie in my new room b/c the A/C unit just could not keep up with the 100 degree temperatures outside. I tried to contact the contractor who did the construction from me and after being blown off for 2 weeks I called Stark Air. They talked to be about some possible issues and when I told them about company coming in town that weekend they said they would do their best to make it out and fix my A/C problems. They were out on Saturday and found several instances where the contractor had done a poor job during the install. They fixed the issue with the A/C unit and even did some other trouble shooting to improve my ability to cool my new media room without any extra charge. They tech (I think Jeremy) was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We have been using Stark Air for our AC/heat needs for a few years now, and I cannot tell you how happy we are that we made the change (from a well-known local competitor who was completely unprofessional, did shoddy/questionable jobs etc). We learned of the company from a homeowners book we received after getting horrible advice and workmanship from this competitor. Our Stark technician, Jeremy, has come to help us on many occasions (including nights and weekends when we had AC breakdowns), and my husband & I trust and respect him immensely. He always explains what he is doing (in terms we can understand), what problems we have - those that are urgent and those that can wait. He is very personable, easy to understand, extremely reliable, and thorough. Feel so fortunate to have found this company - keeps the summers cool and the winters warm. THANK YOU STARK!!!!!

extremely disappointed with the services. Plumber showed up Thursday for an emergency leak in the kitchen, completed the work and had to open the sheet rock and technician confirmed the inspection is on Tuesday (4 days later). Got a call from the company Tuesday 4pm to tell me the permit was not released by the City of Flower Mound. Drove down there and got at 4.45pm and was told the permit was only paid for on Tuesday am and the inspection is available for scheduling online. My question why was i told by the technician the inspection is confirmed for Tuesday and then why was the permit paid for Tuesday instead of Friday? the woman who is supposed to take care of this her name is Cary and she did not seem to careless. This is an emergency job and we are unable to use our kitchen because of this. Disappointing they misinformed me and was lied to

I recently had Stark Air install a new Heater and AC and completely redo the duct work in my house. Everything was great starting with the sales/estimation process to the installation and clean up. My home was built in 1950 and I could never get it warm enough and I thought it would be impossible to because of the single pane windows and lack of insulation in the walls. The new heater that was installed does a great job of heating the house and I have noticed a huge improvement. The workers that did the installation were very nice and knowledgeable and did a great job with the installation and made sure that they cleaned up thoroughly before they left. I would highly recommend Stark and will continue to use them in the future.

Ralph showed up on a Sunday after the 4th of July, 1 hour after I had called in with an issue. Our AC went out on us in the middle of the night during the heat of the summer. Being that it was late Saturday / early Sunday I figured we would have to wait till Monday for someone to come out to see what parts would be needed and a few more days to get the problem fixed. As I said 1 hour after I made the call Ralph was knocking on my door. He found the problem to be the motor which he had a replacement on his truck. Another hour or so and the issue was fixed. I am impressed with the speed of the process and found the price to be more than fair. I will highly recommend Stark and their "Ace in the Hole" Ralph.

I typically get very frustrated when dealing with contractors since I do a lot of contract work myself and am always disappointed in how others handle their business. Stark did a wonderful job of explaining to us all of our options for replacing our system so we could determine what we could afford. The technicians that replaced our attic unit were very friendly and professional. I was very happy with how well they cleaned up after the project was complete. Once the work was done, they went over everything very extensively so we would know what to do after they left. I recommended Stark to my parents when they started having issues.

Ive seen those commercials for Stark Air and then I needed help one day when I arrived home from work to find my air conditioner not cooling. The technician arrived in a very timely manner and went right to work to find the problem. It had rained that day and he wore some shoe covers everytime he came in the house. After he diagnosed the wire failure he showed me what the repair would be. I agreed to the fix. He worked quickly, as the attic was very warm that day too,l and had my air back on so that I was cool before bedtime that night. I will be telling my neighbors to call when they need service as well. Many Thanks to Stark Air.

Tech Derrick Colgan came out to look at my ac that had been leaking for the past few days. He figured out that the pipes were backed up and blew the debris out, which of course cleared the pipes. That was an easy fix, however he spent the next 45mins to an hour taking through all the things that i needed to update with my ac unit, he went over in detail what i need to have done. This was great since i havent had any maintenance done to the unit at all. He left me with some great info, and i will be requesting him back once i set up my first membership service call before the end of this year.

I called Stark for a simple job that was leak in the pipe and I knew what the problem was. The gentleman showed up and started to make it sound very technical and very much of a costly job. I stayed quite and listened to his sales pitch. His minimum quote started from $575 and went up to $795. Very quickly I realized these guys were very unethical in their business practices, decided not to do business with them. I paid his fee for the visit which was another way of making money as well $48. I just got the same job completed by another company for $300. Watch out for the traps.

In the last year we have used Stark Air several times and we have been very pleased. They had to replace our A/C unit and we were very pleased with the pricing and the work done. Installers were really great and professional and got our heat going again. In the last month we had to use their plumbing services to replace our water line from the meter box to the house. They did a great job of keeping the trench in our front yard to a minimum and after Jim replaced the new line got our yard back together. I highly recommend Stark and would give them 5 stars.

Tony & Guiermo showed up right on time, were very efficient & professional in their work, and completed the tune ups on my two a/c systems within 1.5 hours. Tony explained all details about units, and presented options & products to keep them running efficiently. Also, Braulio was out recently and diagnosed a plumbing issue before he tried to clear the a/c drain line.... then Dillon with Stark plumbing cleaned two adjoining sink lines and resolved that issue. Our thanks to all these great employees of Stark who do excellent work!

I set an appointment for my furnace repair that was scheduled for between 10-1. Stark called and asked if they could come a little early. Sure! Derrick Cogan, the HVAC Technician showed up right at 9:45. he quickly accessed the issue. He showed me everything that needed to be done and had the parts to immediately fix the problem. The results were instant. Mr.Colgan was extremely proficient, knowledgeable, helpful in discussing the problem and very professional. I will be calling you guys from now on.

I recently had a water leak from a busted pipe in an exterior wall of my house. When I called Stark, they were very prompt with sending someone over and Joe and Dillon were very friendly and respectful. They were very careful about not making any messes, cleaned up after themselves, and caused as little damage as necessary to fix my problem. Thankfully my problem was not as severe as I originally thought, and I am very appreciative for everything Joe and Dillon did to help solve the problem.

So nice to find an honest HVAC company with a really nice tech. Derrick Colgan came to our house on a service call and identified a few issues with our A/C. He put no additional pressure or sales pressure on us to fix these issues right away. Money is tight and this was a refreshing company to work with. Gus was our technician and he was courteous, professional, thorough with answering questions and though he was here after 8:00 he was not rushing us through some long term service questions. We plan to meet with a representative to discuss replacing our 18 year old unit and based on what we have seen so far, I expect to have nothing but a positive outcome using them as our "go-to" a/c peeps in our new home.

I had a technician come to do bi-yearly service. Jonathan D. was my technician. He was very polite, kind and took time to explain the process and what he would be doing today. He explained work that needed to be done and how much it would cost before doing the work.
