My upstairs’ unit was not cold, so I called 1st Class Heat & AIR in Plano to come check it out after find their name online. After 2 minutes check on the outside unit, the guy told me that it’s leaking and need to add something to stop the leak. In addition, it needed to add some Freon. He charged me $150 for fix the leaking and $177 for adding 3LB Freon, plus $39 for service call. In all he charged me $330. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Not long after he left, I found out the upstairs’ unit was still not cold. So I called 1st Class Heat & AIR to tell what I found and they agreed to send someone to take a look. After some check, they said everything was good. They measured the temperature came in at 84 degree and come out at 73 degree at one place and 79 at another place. I was told the delta was 18, which he said was very normal. When they were ready to leave, I ask if they can show me the readings at the outside unit. They refused to do so and told me that they checked out side already and it was normal. I insisted that they show me the readings because I could feel it was not cold at all compare to my downstairs unit. They got angry and left. I called 1st Class Heat & AIR and told the owner what just happened. He told me to deal with it. I will have to get another A/C company to fix it. In the same time, I am gong file complain with BBB.

I had a problem with my ac unit that was only six years old, I called a company my neighbor referred me to. It took them a day to come out, when they finally did the technician went outside for less than 2 minutes. Then proceeded to pitch me on getting a new one and telling me I needed all sorts of return air and junk. I thought that strange considering my house was only 6 years old, so I told him I would think about and sent him on his way. Five minutes after he left I called a friend and she told me to call first class, they had a technician (An older gentleman) out to my house within 45 minutes. He was very nice, clean, and under standing. He went outside for thirty minutes came back in and told me he had found the problem and that the fix would only be around $300. That was a much better price than the $13500 The other guys were trying to get me for, I now recommend Troy and first class to any and everyone.

First Class was recommended to us by a friend and they have been to our home for routine service as well as to replace an original unit that was 14 years old.Of course our unit went out during the month of July and a holiday weekend!!We were very happy when we called the office and someone was actually in the office and not only that they sent a technician out within the hour! After inspection and testing of the unit it was found to be bad and in need of replacing as we suspected it would be.They immediately arranged for the old unit to be removed the next morning and a new unit placed in the attic. The technicians were very professional in appearance as well as performance. Within a short time they had our home cooling down and all of the old equipment hauled out of the attic and never left so much as a dirty footprint on the carpet! I thank God for this company and their awesome employees!

2 reviews 5.0 star rating 7/7/2016 I have used 1st Class maybe three or four times over the years and it has always been great service. Last night our A/C went warm and I called them at 7:45 at night. He asked when I would like someone to come out and I said as soon as possible. Thinking it would be in a day or so. He said I will have someone out there in the next 30-40 mins! They showed up and looked at my system and determined what was wrong. He had the part in his vehicle and was done in about 25 mins! So from the time I called until when it was repaired was a little over an hour! All of that and they still just charged the $39.90 trip service plus parts!

We had our A/C go out on a Friday in July. Not the best time for this to happen in Texas. 1st class was very attentive, quick to respond, and they were able to get a new Condenser and attic unit installed on that Sunday. It is still taking some fine tuning to get used to the dual zone balance on the high efficiency platform, but we are getting there. The only bump in the road was getting the city inspection setup. We were given a date and time for the inspection, but when nobody from the city showed, we later found out that it was never scheduled with the city, so we just scheduled it our selves. other than that, experience has been good.

I called to get some freeon in my air conditioning.. service man was very rude first thing he said to me was , when was the last time you changed your filthy filters?! ( I had just changed them 2 weeks ago) I was taken a back by his rudeness had family in my house and was embarassed then he went outside for 2 min and came back saying I needed to fix something could not understand what that added up to over 400$.... I said can you please just add the freeon , he looked upset and walked away from me.. experience was not pleasent , felt uncomftorable and will never call them again!

Randy the owner is the most rude person I have dealt with in a long time. I will never do business with this company again. I paid for A/C service for a home I was purchasing to learn the condition of the unit. The tech wrote on the sales receipt that the unit was properly working with a 15-16 degree split. Turns out the unit is not cooling properly and 1st class does not want to honor their diagnosis. Now I am stuck with an A/C unit that does not cool and 1st class does not honor their work. Will file a complaint with the BBB so others do not get scammed as I was.

My AC was blowing hot air and the compressor was not coming on. I call about 9:30 am and Wes came out about 2:00 pm on a Saturday. He spent about an hour working on my system and replaced a few parts. He was very professional and did an awesome job. My AC has been fixed and I am one happy customer. One of the things that I really liked about this company is they replace parts instead of automatically saying the system is broke and you have to buy a new one. I will recommend 1st Class Heat and Air to all my friends. Thank you Wes!!

I could some up the quality of work and service in one word Awesome. But thats not enough. First Class Heat & Air cares about their customers concerns and is willing to take the extra initiative to insure satisfaction. This company is a complete package, professional, courteous, and dedicated. With the vast amount of Heating and Air Companies in the surrounding area its difficult to recognize the best. I was referred to 1st Class by a friend. We had been given an estimate by another company and we wanted a second opinion. I was able to schedule the same day service and I was contacted by the technician giving me notice before his arrival. I was pleased with their professional and knowledgable staff. The other company had given us a quote for something that was not even the issue. 1st Air took care of the problem and saved us hundreds. They are honest, prompt and easy to work with. Once again with the summer heat just beginning our AC unit need some attention. My wife called 1st Class this morning and the Air Technician came out this afternoon. While here he reminded me of the importance of washing out the fins on the outside unit 2-3 times a summer.(which I had neglected to do) He also ran a full check up on our system to be certain it is running at peak performance. Our duct work will need some attention to improve efficiency. Thanks to 1st Class we will now have cold air for the scorching days ahead!!!

My air conditioner died in the middle of the night. I called 5 venders and only 1rst Class picked up their phone(no answering machine) and were able to fit me in the same morning. Very important because the temp was supposed to go to 101. The technician called when he was on his way and actually arrived early. He was polite and professional. Most importantly he diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Great turn around time. 1rst class lived up to their name and will be my first call for any future heating or ac needs.

AWESOME! My first call was to Anumber1 Air that said they could send someone over at 1 am. Seriously. I appreciate that they are available 24/7...but really? No. I found 1st Class Heat & Air and knew it was going to be a good experience from the beginning. The friendly tech was at the house within a couple of hours and not only fixed the issue but walked us through the steps to prevent it from happening again. They have my business for life.

My A/C compressor fan was not working when I got home from work at 5:30pm... I called 3 companies ! 1st Class was the only one who offer to send someone out that night. This is TEWXAS it was hot inside my house ! When Troy the Tech arrived at 7pm he was very nice and professional... tested and restarted my unit and he got it working. Nice to know there are still people who go above and beyond !

This place is horrible had them come out to look at my a/c and the tried telling me it would cost almost 3000 dollars to fix my unit which is just 5 years old after calling another company for a second opinion i was correct the second company said there was nothing wrong with the parts that was said to be bad and 150 later my a/c is good as new. What a joke talk about poor business.

I had two companies come out to give me a quote and I heard something different from them both. I gave 1st class a call to see what a third opinion would say. They were completely honest with me regarding what needed to be fixed and saved me a lot of money!! My air has been working great ever since! I really appreciated the honesty and great work!

I had them come out to my rental property to repair an inoperative first floor AC unit. I had them get in touch with the tenants as I was out of state. I gave them my payment info beforehand. They showed up on time as promised and were able to diagnose the problem. They exchanged a malfunctioning dual capacitor. Total bill: $308.90.

Mr. Ben is a true gentleman and professional. They fixed both our heater in the dead of winter, and our AC during the hottest month so far in Texas! Call Ben at 1st Class - Quality truly matters! We just got both our heating units serviced. They are old and the gas furnace wont turn on. Called the company and they immediately sent out their technician Wes. He was very professional and easy to talk to. The best thing is the company charged very reasonable rate. Highly recommend their service.
