Today, 4/23/16, Jorge was my service representative. Was very satisfied at how he took his time and consulted and educated me on the efficiency of my unit. Today we cleaned the air blower wheel. That, along with the Air Scrubber, will extend the life of my unit. I am so please with Service Experts and Jorge, I am going to ask for him, for the winter maintenance. I may have the coils cleaned at that time. Thank you Jorge for such a fine quality, expedient job you did for me today. ------ --------- --------- --------- Previous service and post: I have been using Service Experts for over 9 years. They are always on time, fast and friendly service. The techs are always quick to point out problems and fix any unforeseen issues with my units. They are very helpful in describing what the problems are and how to fix them. Today, I had wasps beginning to build inside my unit outside, and mold and moisture beginning to grow inside my unit in the garage. Bernie was very helpful. He cleaned all of the inside of the unit, and recommended either a UV lamp or an air scrubber to remedy the problems. People do not realize the importance of proper maintenance that could prevent lots of money, on down the road. I really appreciate all of the good service that Service Experts provides me. I would highly recommend them. Their prices are not out of line, and very worth it to maintain my units, so they will last for years.

Joe Muniz #150 just visited our "new" home in Sachse, Texas and performed the winter check-up on our HVAC system. Joe was very professional, knew his job well and provided a very high standard of customer service! When it was time to have or now two year old "new" home checked for the first time, we automatically selected Service Experts for the job. Truly a first class operation with outstanding technicians like Joe. This company price gouges. We had a dual capacitor replaced on our AC unit, which is on the high end a $40 part. They charged us $265.00 plus tried to charge us an $85.00 service call on top of it. The man was here for 15 minutes. It took him longer to fill out the paperwork than to put the part in. I understand product markup, but charging SIX TIMES the cost of a part that requires minimal effort to replace is UNREAL. I would never recommend this company or ever use them again. We got them to wave the service call because we were able to find a coupon online to get that for free, but when you are stuck at 106 degree temperature and no AC unit put us in a position to pay for this gouge. However, I can do what I can to spread the word for people to never ever use them. Their service man was "nice" enough to also let us know that if it had been our fan motor they would charge SIX TIMES the part cost as well. Thanks for letting us know you keep your gouging the same across the board!

Alex T. has been here twice and has done a good job for us both times. Today we had an error code on the thermostat which required a call to Service Experts. After the call center fumbled our request for a call back for 20 minutes, I used my cell phone to call again and got right through. The lady at the central call center said it would be a while (3 hours) before anyone could get to us. A few minutes later, I got a call from the DFW center saying someone was available immediately and was I interested? I said YES. Shortly thereafter Alex T called and said he was on his way. He came in, looked at the problem, and fixed it! He explained what the problem had been and did the paperwork in no time. He was done and gone before the original service window was even reached. Good job Alex T and thank you again. PS. Management needs to clean up the call center non-call back problem. But that is not a reflection on the good job done by Alex T. Tom Chittick Plano

We had two complete Lennox HVAC systems installed in our home today by Service Experts Plano. This was to replace poor equipment and systems installation from the builder. Our sales consultant, Chow, designed a system that will be much more efficient for our cooling and heating. He was completely professional, knowledgeable of HVAC systems and a pleasure to work with. Since we were installing two complete units, Service Experts sent two crews out so our installations could be completed in one day. Bernie, Moe, Bobby, Joe, Slim, Curtis and Adrian were professional, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable of HVAC installations. The installers wore shoe covers, laid tarps on our hardwood floors and swept when they were through. We were shown how everything worked and all of our questions were answered. We had both upstairs and downstairs COMPLETE SYSTEMS replaced back in February 2017. Salesman Chow was EXCELLENT in explaining the different products available and the benefits of each. He even helped modify our ducts and customized our return air vents to improve on our comfort score. Great customer service and smooth process with the installation. Jared and Bobby both did the install and worked 2 full days completing the job. They were careful to protect the inside of the home during the process and cleaned up well. Financing also easy and great considering we had 2 systems installed. Systems still working great after 4 months and we are already noticing a small savings in our electric bill and the heat of Texas summer has not even hit yet! Would recommend Service Experts hands down!

Bernie Garcia arrived at my home on time, asked me if i was having any trouble with my unit. I told him yes and he said he would check it out. Bad news was it could not be fixed. He called and Dana Bacon arrived and went over my options, explained everything very well and set up the appointment for the following Monday to install the new unit. Everything happened without any problems. Monday morning Bobby Seward calls to let me know he is on his way, again showed up on time told me how long they would be and what they would be doing. Finished on time, ask if I had any questions, signed two papers and I was good to go. Hated to spend the money but I felt I got great service and a great product. HIGHLY recommend Service Experts HVAC.

I would like to take a minute to thank the personnel who came out to service my house recently. From the first minute I met CHOW, he represented your company professionally, and honestly. The last thing a relatively new home owner wants to hear is that the HVAC system in a house bought 3 years ago, was not the correct one for the house, and that a new one would be needed. At first I was skeptical, however, my house that was once drafty, and cold all the time is now toasty warm, and I actually have had to turn the thermostat down, because the house is a little too toasty. I had an issue with my furnace and scheduled an appointment online. I received a confirmation and the technician arrived within the window provided (6pm-8pm). He was knowledgeable and approachable and answered all the questions I had. He was able to have a sales associate come out to talk about my options that within an hour, and, after sleeping on it I decided to have my furnace serviced. After shopping around, I called them in the afternoon and they were willing to work with me on pricing. Not only that, but they had a technician come out later that same day to replace the part. Very pleased with the experience - shout out to Leon for sweating through putting that new blower motor in!

A week ago we had to have 2 complete AC systems replaced. We had replaced a complete system in our previous house using Service Experts and were pleased. Chow Penaree came to the house did a thorough inspection including the attic to best assess our needs. We were convinced and purchased the XC20 variable capacity and XC16 two stage for the master bedroom/bath. A day later the crew of Mo, Jared, Bobby, Joe, Wei Kai, Kevin and Eli converged on our home to tackle the job. Best crew ever!! Professional, courteous, and extremely hard working. Mo, the crew chief, was extremely knowledgeable and accessible for any questions we had. I would recommend Service Experts to anyone who asks. Kudos!

Lap did a routine check of my system and found several problems with the furnace. He was very good a presenting my options. Due to the age of the system I asked about replacement. Lap contacted Ted, a residential sales consultant, Ted was here within 10 minutes. Ted told me about my options for replacement. I decided to replace the entire system. Bernie, Kevin, Bobby and Jaime did the work removing my old system and installing the new system. They were very friendly and kept me informed along the way. They also were very careful moving equipment in and out of the house and did a good job cleaning up when done. They helped me setup my settings and ensured everything worked correctly.

Service Experts atr servicing our two AC units for 10+ years. Same technician, Mr. Lap does maintenance twice a year. Very honest, clean and picks up after him. A+ When it was time to replace one of two AC units we met with Ted a salesman, professional and friendly. We agreed on price and set up time and date for replacement. As promised two technicians, Bobby and Jammie came exactly at 10 AM. Cover our floors and started working non stop till work was finish. Jammie and Bobby were very accommodating and kept work Place and driveway clean. Once again honest and cleaned up prior to leaving. Great people. Our unit is working great. I recently had a maintenance check and was told by Alex T. that I had a leak in my evaporator coil and that my hot surface igniter needed to be replaced. He did not open the unit to check for a leak or check the Freon level which would be low if there was a leak so I was reluctant to believe his assessment. I spent $125 for another company to come out and check if there were any problems and no leak in the evaporator coil was found which was confirmed by the Freon level being 100% in tact (my unit is only 9 years old) and there was no problem with the hot surface igniter so I am glad I got a second opinion. So the level of service depends on who you get.

Alex Tsalko replaced compressor on my Amana Heat Pump after 2 failures. Alex did the most thorough conscientious work I have ever seen - carefully removing freon from system and then pulling vacuum to remove any remaining oil before removing old compressor and installing/welding new compressor and a new compressor starter kit (Compressor Saver) Then Alex again pulled vacuum for an hour (more than any other technician that I remember doing) . Then Alex carefully added new freon for another hour carefully fine tuning amount of freon in my system With a computer controlled diagnostic instrument for perfect operation. The service tech was very rude and seemed too hasty to move on, he just wanted to collect the $99.00 service fee ASAP, I have to say this is price gouging (service fee/diagnostics is much cheaper ($19.95) for a second company I checked with and they were courteous and thorough). This tech gave me a quote of $660.00 for a control board change, this is on top of $99.00 service fee. I looked up the control board in e-bay which costs $99.00 and replacement takes about 15 mins (I did it myself). So the techs labor charge is ($562/15min that is) $2248/hr plus $99.00 service charge. I can only feel bad for other less fortunate homeowners who might get gouged.
