I originally contacted VB Attorneys after my occupational insurance company decided to stop paying benefits that they were obligated to pay due to my work place injury. While consulting with the firm, they advised me that due to negligence on behalf of the company I was performing work for, we could hold them liable and bring suit against them. In the meantime they were able to convince the Insurance company to continue paying benefits under the policy including back pay. However, since then the temporary disability payments have expired and the permanent disability was theoretically supposed to kick in, with one caveat, and that was that I was supposed to apply for and be approved by Social Security Disability. Byron graciously referred me to a Social Security Specialist who is working on that behalf. My only disappointment is that, I have been without any income since February and knowing how long it can take Social Security to make decisions, I will be waiting a long time before I can see any kind of relief. After three surgeries and a bleak prognosis of recovery from the injury sustained at work, I am a little discontent. Overall, the VB Attorney Group has been very helpful, Specially Byron, who handles my stress with grace and patience.

When I was looking for a lawyer for my case, I was confused with the many choices out there. I wanted to make sure I got the right firm for my case. Well, it turned out I did with Vuk and his team. A very professional law firm. I never was involved in a law suite before and was very green in the whole process of it all, but Vuk walked me thru it step by step.
