PER JULIO IBARRA - “My brother Ricky was charged with the murder of a police officer for the accidental death of a Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy. My family isn’t rich and thought my brother would be discriminated against. Regardless, me and my family pulled together and hired the best attorney our money could buy. I remember my brother telling me that when Mr. Carroll personally surrendered him to the Harris county jail, the room was full with HPD and Harris County Sheriff Deputies. The Deputy my brother was accused of murdering worked there. Mr. Carroll told the crowded room if Mr. Ibarra is messed with there will be hell to pay. When I visited Ricky and was told this I thought Ricky might have a chance, I know guts when I see or hear about them – I was a Special Forces Marine Sniper in Iraq and Afghanistan. My brother got his own cell and was treated well. Ricky’s case was dismissed during jury deliberation and he walked, unassisted out of court at the end of the trial. Other than major depression about the Deputy he’s doing well with a wife, kids, and a great job. HO AHH When I honorably discharged from the Marines I didn’t know what to do with myself and ended up getting busted by the DEA for Manufacture, Delivery, or Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, mainly 255 grams of cocaine and was enhanced because I was carrying a firearm. Get an affirmative finding for carrying a firearm while selling drugs and you can kiss parole goodbye. Jack set the case for trial and had a suppression hearing. My partner got 20 years with a deadly weapon finding, I got deferred adjudication. My case has since been dismissed and there will be no public record of it after Jack files a motion for Non-Disclosure. HO AHH

I was charged with a serious felony a little over a year ago, I chose not to go the route of a court appointed and find my own. I simply googled defense lawyers and I found a different attorney who was TERRIBLE. I ended up firing her and I then found Jack. From the get go they were professional and honest. Phillip is the Associate attorney who helped me the entire time. Phillip was always on time and always up front with me on the facts and what would be the best route for me to take. He knew sometimes when we met after a scheduled hearing I was un easy but he always assured me it would be okay, and it was. Phillip fought for a vigorous 10 months on my case and kept me from having to do even 1 day in jail bc he believed that I was innocent. If I ever had a question I could text or call him or jack and they would always answer. If you’re facing a serious charge and don’t know where to begin I highly recommend starting with them. They will not let you down. They were also very understanding when it came to finances and let me pay as we proceeded what I could until I paid them off. Definitely one of the best defense lawyers I have ever seen!!!!!!!!! Also- I read ALL the reviews good and bad. With everything in life you’re going to get good and bad responses. Not everybody will be pleased with everybody and every service. I can PERSONALLY say that out of the 10 months I worked with Phillip and Jack not ONE time was I displeased with their office and I was a very VERY needy client.

I can not say enough about the tremendous service Jack did for my family member. Sometimes good people make bad choices, however it does not mean they are a bad person. Jack represented my family member with the utmost respect and dignity. He worked diligently and tirelessly to win a favorable outcome. Called mr carroll on friday on some regarding some information about the final terms on my differed probation including what rights were restored and what i can and cannot due, he told me to call him back Saturday which i did and he had all my information with answers to everything i had asked , he doubled assured me on everything and he was nice enough to not even charge me since they were only questions even though i had not used him for my case from the beginning really nice person and knows his stuff gives solid real answers. Would recommend him to anyone who ever asks me for a lawyer in the future

I was charged with intoxicated man slaughter, my worst nightmare! I was foolish and now I was going to pay for it! I was offered 15 years, I thought my life as a free person was over, everything felt hopeless. I hired Jack, who has a reputation as an excellent defense attorney, I put my case in his hands. Only did a consultation over the phone, but was told by him that my charge SHOULD have been much worst. Is he omniscient? Then proceeding to tell me how important and popular he was and therefore charged high fees. My impression was of a self aggrandazing and greedy lawyer who seems to only care about how much money is in it for him, and not about defending his clients. Would definitely not recommend.
