You had me at Cool Breeze - AC Pros, As a home owner the investment of your property is possibly one of the more demanding costs of maintenance that one endures. When trying to deal with an aging or depleted AC unit the question will always come to mind: • Is this the year to replace the AC unit? • What AC Company should I choose? • What is the average cost to put a new unit in? • What do I know about an AC Unit? • Will my new AC unit be better than my old unit? • Do I have a warranty with this new AC unit? • Should I spend the money? • What is the cost? After much evaluation and numerous appoints with multiple AC Company’s, I had made my decision to select AC Pros who is located in Richardson Texas. You may ask why and that will be easy to explain. My AC consultant was Richardson Smiley and let me say it is one of the best at done his job. He first listened to my needs, he evaluated the condenser outside and components outside, he went into the attic and did a thorough evaluation of the air return flow, furnace, coils and compressor. He walked me through A to Z on the findings why my existing AC unit was failing. Then he made assurance that AC Pros could make this a better AC experience by resolving the issues found from his findings and from my wants of what I think an AC unit should do. He then explained the new AC unit, the warranty, service and the technicians, cost/financing options. The cost was slightly more than some competitors but I believed in what found with the previous AC unit, what he found and how AC Pros was going to make this a great AC experience after they were done fixing the issues. Outcome: It works like an AC unit should, home is cool and breeze, and my decision to use AC Pros was a smart decision. Workers were professional, install took all day but they did what was requested they got the new AC unit in and removed the existing unit. I’m please and happy with the new AC unit and I would recommend AC Pros to family, friends, co-workers and public groups that I associated with. If you looking for a solid, reliable, honest AC Company then choose AC Pros, they know how to fix an AC unit.

The saying goes: A return customer is the best compliment a business can have. I am a return customer to AC Pros because they respect your property, your time and your money by doing things right the first time. I met Richard in August 2010. We have 3 AC units at the house and one of them was down. He was the third bidder to come in that day. Unlike the previous 2 bidders, Richard took the time to understand my issues and the layout/architecture of the house and AC units. He did a thorough inspection, where returns are located, what problems I was having, hotspots, airflow, temperature differential and after specific calculations he recommended enlarging some ducts, adding a return and sizing the tonnage appropriately. His crew was on time the next day, replaced a complete system for one unit and installed a new furnace/blower with 4" filters on another. Since then, the house is nice and cool in the summer, well heated in the winter and the 4" filters perform great in reducing allergens and dust. Fast forward to 2014. We bought a new property and I needed 2 units replaced. AC Pros was the first company I called. They came in and did the same thorough analysis, provided a competitive bid and then professionally installed the 2 units in one day. I was happy to see that after 4 years, the quality of the work and attention to details is still the same. The maintenance program they provide is also a great way of insuring your system continues to perform well. There are a lot of companies that cut corners to increase their profit. With AC Pros, they will not compromise quality. I highly recommend them.

AC Pros installed a new 5 ton Trane High Efficiency AC/Furnace system at my home back in August of 2010. I obtained 3 bids & the AC Pros bid was the ONLY one that was complete with ALL details, model #s & full scope of the work to be performed. They analyzed my system needs with complete duct airflow making changes as needed. Yet the cost was SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive with all 1st tier Trane & Honeywell system components. Over the past three years, I have averaged right close to 60% savings on summer electricity costs because of my decision to go with AC Pros (we keep the inside temp. at 72 in the summer). I was particularly impressed with the dedication quality of everyone on their team because, not only did the installers do a detail oriented, neat & clean job, they replaced all remnants of the old system including the thermostat, supply & return plenums, down to the crumbling flooring around the furnace in the attic. As an Electrical Engineer myself, it was impressive to me that this company was owned & run by an E.E. as well. Richard Smiley has developed a team of honest and knowledgeable professionals (not contractors) who deliver all that is promised & much more--- at a price & continued operating cost that blows the doors off the others. I continue to be tickled when I open my electric & gas bills & will continue to recommend AC Pros for any home heating or AC issues given the continued rising costs of energy today.

I highly recommend AC Pros of Richardson, TX. Make sure you get the correct company! I read through some of these reviews and see some people mistaken the companies and were not provided the exceptional service AC Pros of Richardson provide! AC Pros put our AC units in 1999 yes 18 years ago! They are still providing excellent air for us because we have them maintained by AC Pros and awesome technicians like Osvaldo Perez! He was here last Thursday and is very knowledgable. I needed a new capacitator on one of my units and I asked him to explain all that to me. He did and in terms I could understand and it made total sense. This is why our units are still so efficient. Richard Smiley has called me personally to explain an issure I had. No sales pitch just wanted me to understand why they recommended what I needed to do for my units. This is a sincere shout out to AC Pros and especially Oswaldo Perez! Thank you, Sandy Wickstrom

Dishonest. My wife hired A/C Pros for a basic air duct cleaning service, they inspected the unit and said the readings were much lower than they needed to be. They also mentioned there was water standing on the attic due to a leak. The work they suggested was going to cost me hundreds of dollars. I contacted another company for a second opinion, only to find that everything A/C Pros told me needed to be done was untrue, the readings were normal and there was no water standing on the attic. A/C Pros were deceiving and lied to my face as they shook my hand. Disgusting. Their customer service representative was not helpful at all. PS They were supposed to change the air filter but never did...

I was looking for a contractor that was able to convert my electric heat to a heat pump. This required replacing an in-wall air-handler. Most contractors I spoke with were reluctant to quote this or gave me quotes that were way too much. Some wanted me to put a closet door as they would need to cut a large opening. AC Pros was able to provide me with a good quote and was confident they could replace the in-wall air handler. They also took the time to replace they air handler that was delivered and there was a slight damaged to the unit that happened during transport. Definitely the company you want to work with.

We had both our AC units replaced by AC Pros about 6 months ago, and they were awesome! They cleaned up after themselves, were courteous, and really impressed me. A lot better than companies we have used in the past. Today they returned to do a regular service check, and I was super impressed with the technician. He explained to me how to check and replace the filters myself if I would like to, and he explained everything so that I could understand. Again, super impressed with the service. The units are working great as well, and our energy bill has decreased greatly with the new units.

Lance Wolfe was my "Comfort Specialist" and he certainly lived up to his title! Needed a substantial overhaul to my a/c system and Lance not only did an extensive evaluation but explained in detail what was wrong and what was needed...always being candid...and never trying to upsell. Choosing AC Pros and having the good fortune of Lance as its counselor and guide was a huge comfort to the Altmans as we can now avoid wilting in the heat and know that the household temperatures will be well calibrated to the outside weather. We have used AC Pros for over 10 years. I confess that once or twice we tried out another AC Repair Company for quick fixes, always to our regret. AC Pros have technicians who are really dedicated to making sure our problems are resolved to our satisfaction, with emphasis on long term reliability of our ac/furnaces. I strongly recommend them. As a small side comment, your technician Mike is the most sincere and patient technician of any field we have ever met, including the literally dozens of people who were involved in our last home remodeling. My experience with AC Pros was a waste of my time. I was looking to have my A/C unit and all duct work replaced. Sales rep. Dean Q. with AC Pros came out and spent several hours gathering the required information to provide me a quote. Over the duration of one week, I have requested my quote two different times. I receive replies from him saying it is almost done. At this time, I will not consider AC Pros. This is my experience with AC Pros and not intended to slam them but only inform a consumer.

I have used AC Pros for over 15 years now. They have replaced all three of my heating and air conditioning systems in my 20 year old house. I am very pleased with their quick service that they give me along with the two cleanings per year. Each technician and office staff that I have dealt with were very knowledgeable and helpful. If you pick them as your A/C company you will not be dissatisfied and you too will be on here writing a review and telling your friends about them.

Very fast response time and excellent service. Mike went above and beyond, cutting away some branches that were in the way to get to the AC units. He explained what needed to be done and gave options. Had capacitor replaced and freon refilled on one unit. Mike tightened a hose that was loose on another without charging me. Prompt, courteous and kind service!

My experience was completely different from BHawk. They told me someone would be at my home between 1:00pm and 6:00pm. I took off from work and waited at my house until 6:10pm. After wasting my entire afternoon, I finally gave up and left to run some errands. At around 6:40pm, I got a message that someone could be there in about 40 minutes. Totally unprofessional.
